I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! "We were the only people staying in the hotel on Friday so our breakfast was prepared freshly. I don't know if they do a buffet if it's busy but I suspect not as it's a small hotel. We enjoyed our breakfast but not as much as we enjoyed our dinners. Both nights we had a burger from the hotel, which we enjoyed very much. I rarely eat in hotels but I'm glad I did at the Bridge. "We loved everything about this unique hotel. The Godwin floor tiles are simply superb, but the 'traditional' feel to the hotel adds to the charm. Terrific value, and we will be back."

"The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again."
