This oceanfront duplex cottage in Avon serves as an ideal escape for a couple or a small family seeking a peaceful hideaway. Conveniently located near the beach with shops and dining options nearby. Two By The Sea-B is a fantastic vacation spot, offering a full kitchen, a living room, and views of the ocean and dunes, all in a comfortable setting. All visitors are required to provide their own linens, towels, and paper supplies. The owners have decorated and furnished Two By The Sea according to their personal style. A coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, silverware, glasses, mattress pads, pillows, and blankets or comforters are included. Fees for reservations, partial stays, pet accommodations, taxes, and insurance are applicable.
In case of cancellation or change in any reservation, no refund will be made by Dolphin Realty or the owners we represent unless the unit is re-rented and confirmed by the newer reservation for the cancelled period. All cancellations and changes are subject to a $75.00 charge, reservation fee; Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance premium, Property Protection and Credit Card Processing Fee if applicable. Please notify our office of any changes as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued due to lack of fish or inclement weather. The offered Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance covers many unforeseen and emergency situations.

This property has a lot of steps ,19 steps exactly just to get to the entrance door . Bedrooms and bathroom is on one level, kitchen and living room on another . If you have knees issues this property may not be for you. The whole house is shaking when someone walks up and down the stairs, flushes toilet , runs washer etc. Otherwise excellent location , quiet , family friendly . 2 minutes walk to amazing beach . 10 min walk to Avon pier .

Quiet and close to the beach access

Great spot with easy access to the beach right beside de building. Close to the Avon Pier and groceries Clean place Would have apreciated darker blindings for better sleep but other than that it was a very good stay

Quiet beach home

Over all we liked staying here. The home was nice and clean and sitting out on deck at night listen to the waves was lovely. Some things i would add would be a canopy for the deck for day time sitting. Things i didn't like was the walk to the beach it wasn't a far walk but up a hill loose sand with my back problems made it a little uncomfortable. And the area really doesn't have that many places to eat. The drive back up to nags and kitty was nice and more to choose for restaurants. We went 1st week of june so not that busy so the beach was lovely. Over all i would still stay here again.

Excellent little duplex, with an ocean view

The property is a neat little duplex right on the beach with a deck with chairs looking at the ocean. It's a bit of a hike to the ocean (steep dune to climb). Propety was clean, well equiped. This has been one of the best kept properties I've stayed in.

Great location

The property was in an excellent location. The beach was just over the sand dunes. The drive to Nags Head was worth the privacy and less population. The unit was comfortable enough for 3 adults and somewhat dated and in need of upgrades. As others have said, the furniture probably is original to the house and really should be upgraded. It is fabric and holds a lot of odor, especially pet odor. The description states "no pets" but that is not the case. Both the couch and one of the twin beds was covered in dog hair and the odor was horrible. If you have pet allergies, beware. There were dogs there prior to our arrival as we found dog food on the floor and in the slider door tracks leading out to the balcony. It was easily cleaned up, but should not have been missed. The description also stated the balcony was private. While there was a wooden partition between the 2 units, it was not private. You can see the neighbors completely and there is a gate that connects the 2 units that does not have a lock on it. So, make sure you do not leave anything of value on the deck.

I had a nice time at this property for the month of April. The property needs a little TLC (paint, minor fixes) but overall was a pleasant stay.

Great location!

Just perfect for two of us. Location was ideal. The furniture was a bit tired but it’s a beach house. Only complaint is that it was very dirty. I’d hire a new cleaning crew! I would rent again for sure! Lovely time!!

It really did have an ocean view!

This property was right next to the beach which was the main draw. Kitchen was adequately stocked, deck was lovely, beds comfortable. Some items needing TLC-headboards on beds not attached to frames and thus bumped against walls, entire unit needed deep clean - ceiling fans dirty, ceiling lights filled with bugs, baseboards super dirty, stuff like that. Overall B -
