  • Built in 1976, this Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice designed home is nestled in the rolling hills of the Wisconsin River valley on 30 acres of old hardwood forest and restored native prairie. Open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen with soaring 18 foot ceilings, skylights and vintage wood stove. Sliding glass doors open to a 400 square foot deck suspended in the trees over looking the pond below. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen with gas range, full size refrigerator, microwave, dish washer and stocked pantry. Outdoor gas grill. 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and full bath. spacious closets, linens and towels.
    Half way between Spring Green and Dodgeville. Approximately 12 miles to American Players Theatre, downtown Spring Green and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. 50 miles to Madison.

Absolutely lovely and secluded home in Wisconsin beautiful driftless region! Conveniently located to local attractions (Taliesin, American Players Theater), and it had everything we needed. Had a great stay!

Everything about this place is amazing. This property has been one of my favorites that I've ever rented. It is extremely well designed, secluded, peaceful, and very well done. I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful property tucked in the lush wooded hills. The house was updated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved staying there and host was very attentive.

Absolutely beautiful property! Felt very much at home. Spacious, comfortable, incredible views, and tons of amenities... Host thought of everything! Would definitely stay again.

The home was beautiful with unique architecture and a great deck adjacent to a large oak tree making you feel like you were in a tree house. The kitchen was well appointed and the furniture comfortable. The location was excellent; quiet in a countryside forested area and yet no more than a 20 minute drive to all local attractions including Taliesin and The American Players Theatre as well as amazing kayaking on the Wisconsin River.

This is a lovely home and setting. It was very relaxing and comfortable. Phyllis was very helpful and accommodating. We will stay here again if we're in the area since it was convenient to towns and sites. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place located in a wooded, quiet location. Very nice, comfortable interior. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Nice size rooms and bathrooms. Loved sitting on the porch watching the birds. We will be back!

Phyllis was a wonderful host. She communicated from the beginning of the booking process until after check-out. The property was beautiful and the home had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed watching the birds and the crazy antics of the early morning squirrels. We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed many times in this beautiful home and this time like all the others was perfect! We were able to rest, watch the beautiful birds, enjoy the peace and beauty of the house and the surroundings. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with family history. It was lit up for us, late arrival. The bird feeder and wildlife were very entertaining. Awesome, highly recommend if you are in the Spring Green area.

This cabin was exactly what we needed. There’s something so restorative about the silence of the Driftless; without the noise of city life, you’re left with nothing but the peaceful sounds of nature. We left feeling completely recharged and are already dreaming of our next escape to this hidden gem

We have stayed here many times and it is consistently our favorite getaway for many reasons. The location, amenities, fantastic host and serenity are the best. It is an honor to be able to return to this very special property year after year.

Clean, modernized but still rustic cabin in the middle of nature! My kids had a great time watching birds in the morning…we may have convinced them to be EXTRA quiet to see the best ones . Overall a great week in nature! Thank you for the lovely place to stay!
