Also, the parking was pricier than listed on Expedia.. This hotels walls are pretty thin. "Literally home away from home! This hostel/hotel is made up of three converted walk-ups. There are hostel-style rooms with multiple beds, and there are hotel-style rooms with bed and full bathroom. The room I stayed in had a very tall window that could be opened. Logistically speaking: there is a Safeway within a few blocks that’s open late. "The first room we got checked into smelled like vomit, straight up. We could pinpoint it was coming from a side table. We contacted the front desk and they put us in another room right away. The furniture in the rooms is super pleasant and modern which is a nice contrast against the old building. The bar is awesome! "

"We absolutely loved the Lyle Hotel. Our room was very comfortable with so many well thought out details. The interior design was unique and beautiful. We also loved the neighborhood and location. This is definitely the place to stay in DC!"

"Nice room, pretty hotel. Lots of construction in the area at this time. This is the second time we’ve stayed, and the second time I’ve received random charges on my credit card that I had to ask about. During this stay we couldn't check in until 4:30 given a glitch in their system ( the room was ready but the front desk couldn’t “release it”). A couple of minutes turned into 30. "
