Beautiful Eucalyptus is Avalon's only street reserved for pedestrians. Number 315 is a bright and open lower home in a duplex near the corner of Eucalyptus and Beacon. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, but away from the noise and bustle of downtown. Three queen bedrooms and a spacious sofa sleeper will comfortably sleep 8. Free WIFI and 3 flat screen TV's will satisfy your computer, sports, movie and gamer needs at the same time. Come enjoy this corner of paradise.No smoking. 315E Lower QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited). | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Place was perfect for our family stay. Clean, comfortable, convenient location. Check in was easy and contact free. Only negatives were no A/C during a hot weekend (plenty of fans, but it was warm at night) and one of the beds was very creaky making it hard to sleep for one of our guests. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would choose this spot again. Thank you!

Awesome unit!

The unit was well equipped and in a great location. Could not have asked for a cleaner unit. The place was spotless and ready to enjoy. The host was responsive to all my imquiries. I would highly recommend this property. I look forward to our next visit.

Misleading Listing

This rental property is beautiful. Wonderfully decorated. Newer remodeled property and appliances. So much to love about it. HOWEVER, the sofa bed is atrocious!! Do not count on having it to sleep on. The end appears broken and sags. The metal in the mattress protrudes and is so uncomfortable I would not even expect children to sleep on it without pain. It should not be included in the listing, this property does not sleep 8 comfortably and I would like a quarter of the rental price back. After informing the rental property management, I was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience

Catalina Island Weekend

Just absolutely perfect for a big group. Walking distance from the ferry, directly across the street from grocery store, plenty of room for 8 people, and stocked plentiful with bedding, kitchen needs, and beachy extras. Also reasonably priced for the area. Hope to stay here again for future visits.

This property was a short walk from activities and shops. We were here diving for the weekend and the location was perfect. I loved that there was no car traffic on the street and that it was such a short walk to the Vons.

House has everything you need

The house was perfect. The location is excellent, vons across the street, 5 min walk to beach, and the street had no traffic which was nice for kids to play, BBQ, and relax. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a large family meal, store leftovers etc. I highly recommend this house for a family get away!

Best place to Stay on the Island!

Hands down this house was the perfect piece of my birthday get away! I had some friends & my parents come stay & everyone loved it. It was clean & perfect amount of space. I slept 8 adults. The house location is ABSOLUTE! Thank you to the family that is renting out this fine home. You can tell the house is owned by people who love it. So nice having Vons around the corner! Even has a car free street in front of the house! We will definitely be back again.

Wonderful Property and Great Location

It was perfect. we didn't receive a code to check in and had to go by the office. There was another guest with the same problem ahead of us. We didn't know it was an apartment, the ground floor. It would have been amazing if we were not woken at 6.30 am by the heard of elephants in the apartment above us. Thin walls, ceilings. No sleep, but a great place otherwise. Very clean and well maintained.

Everything we needed for our Catalina Excursion

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was convenient, in excellent proximity to all the shops and restaurants, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The only complaint that I have is that they do not provide laundry detergent, you have to go to the store where all the single use detergents are sold out and the lines are long.

Perfect Location

Our family enjoyed the home. It had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. The only issue I had was with the sofa bed, when I pulled it out, it was extremely dirty with crumbs and pieces of food so I just put it away and did not use it at all. The location of the home is perfect. Its a short walk to the grocery store and a short walk to the beach and to the country club area. We really loved it.

Very nice place to stay

The accommodation were very nice. The only drawbacks were #1 the lack of internet service it was advertised as having internet but when we got there the internet service was non functional and #2 the noisy neighbors in the upstairs rental, it sounded like they were running around in wooden shoes all night.

We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday and we had a wonderful time

I was very impressed on how clean everything was !!!! The sheets, bedspreads, the blinds !!!! It was all so very nice !!!!! I was very happy that my mom and I shared a a bathroom Between our rooms and my brother and his wife got their own bathroom. Overall it was a great place to celebrate our mom. We came from Arizona, Lake Tahoe NV, and Camarillo California.
