Only 9 steps to the road; a total of 1442 sq. feet. H1785 | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

We loved our sta at the Villa! The house has beautiful sweeping views of the Ocean. The home was clean and comfortable sized rooms. I had my entire family of 4 and my MIL with us and we had plenty of space. The kids also loved going around town in the gold cart that was included. We cannot wait to go back.

Outdated unit

Check-in was fine and they were very responsive. View is spectacular. overall the unit is just old, everything in the unit is old. We had exactly 6 towels they were like using sandpaper. We noticed the TV in the primary was broken, actually it wasn’t even a TV it was a monitor. called in to report it. Nobody attempted to replace it while we were in the unit. Hot tub in the facility did not work. The biggest issue was filling up the golf cart at departure. Nobody tells you is the gas station via golf cart on the island is 17 minutes each way to fill 3 to 5 dollars worth of gas -round trip 45 minutes. My recommendation would be filled the night before you leave - that would’ve been useful information. For God sakes get a Keurig, coffee pot is 20 years old.

Weekend in Catalina

I stayed at this location with four other girl friends. The views were amazing. Having the golf cart to get to and from downtown was perfect. I would stay here again the next time I’m back !

Fantastic Property

I stayed for a week with my husband and adult children. We LOVED this rental property!! It was comfortable for our group and had beautiful ocean views and was an easy walk to Avalon. I highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful view

Our view was beautiful. We had 4 adults and two teenagers with us through Thanksgiving. We had planned to do some food prep but ended up eating out almost every meal. The villa was very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful island. It was great to have the use of a golf cart to get around as the resort is a distance away and up a steep incline. We were expecting to enjoy the hot tub and the property amenities but they were closed. The games at the villa we’re missing parts and kitchen dishes were dusty, and no potholders. Otherwise our adventure to Catalina was great.

Fantastic Location and good for family

The views from this property were amazing! The bedroom setup was nice for 3 teens who won't share beds. The space felt very roomy. We did not cook or use TV's. Bluetooth speaker was a bonus. Washer and dryer were very convenient. We wanted to spend more time on the patio, but the furnture could use some updating. It was great to have a golf cart, but did have an issue with the oil light right away, but we found and added oil. Cart was not enthusiastic about going up hills, but did get us to and from town. Needs maintenance. It was in the mid-high 80's when we stayed and the master bedroom felt like the heater was on. We did not sleep well any of the 3 nights we stayed. It was sismply too hot. Bed and pillows were uncompfortable. We knew this unit did not have A/C, but didn't think it would be an issue in November. Several of the windows throughout the unit could not be opened. There was a fox (very cool) near our unit serval nights so we did not want to sleep with the doors open. Note, morning sun is beautiful but very intense reflection off the water lights up and heats up the unit. Amazing sunrises! We did enjoy the pool, hot tub, putting green (putters in the closet) and sand vollyball.

Amazing weekend get away

Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this villa for a a family get away. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Plenty of room for a family of 6 to enjoy comfortably. The neighborhood is extremely private and secure and the golf cart was very useful.

Peaceful Paradise

Trying to plan the perfect get away for people with varying interests from the ages 12-74? Not easy, but this property had gorgeous views, comfortable furniture, a well stocked kitchen and lots to do on the well kept premises. It was convenient to borrow tennis equipment and putting equipment from the guard tower (Nancy was so friendly and helpful with insider tips). Not every place is perfect, but the property management company worked hard to accommodate our needs throughout our stay. The golf cart does fit 6 people and can get you (very slowly - it is old) over to Avalon for shopping and other activities. We enjoyed being outside of the town for the peace and quiet, but having access to it. The taxi cab was fast to pick us up and return us to the dock. Very nice vacation!

Hamilton Cove getaway

Great location with simply gorgeous view. The condo was as good as expected although there were a few problems with the unit - one of the toilets was broken, hair dryer not working and the doors hard to operate.

Aside form some cleaning issues (garbage not emptied, ice maker frozen solid, cigarettes and trash left in the golf cart) the property was stunning overall. I would rent it again for sure

Overall good vacation condo but not perfect

I would like to start with the good and it was very good indeed! The location is one of the the best in the island in my opinion and the views from the balcony are breathtaking, the private beach is an added bonus as well , the not so good Was the bedding that was old and not very clean, I would expect better considering the price I’ve paid, not enough towels for a family of six and no beach towels at all !!! I wish I knew that in advance so I could prepare better The bbq didn’t work properly eventually I just used the oven , It was a good vacation condo but not the best

We can't wait to come back!

The Hamilton Cove villas are SO close to the Descanso Beach Club (our fav) and the rest of downtown Avalon, but we felt as if we were on a separate island on Italy's Amalfi Coast. The community is quiet and peaceful and this unit has awe-inspiring views of the ocean. We enjoyed our sunsets and sunrises immensely, but didn't have an opportunity to spend much time on the property otherwise. We spent our days on the zipline, rope course, descanso beach club cabanas, boating, and getting ice cream at Big Olaf's. In a future visit, we will be sure to bring our putters for the putting green! BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: This villa isn't particularly updated, but then again, not much in Avalon is updated anyway. The three bedrooms are as pictured and the wrap-around deck is amazing. The linens on the beds are weathered and worn, but we slept fine. Our sons chose to sleep on the living room couches to have a better view of the ocean; the extra linens in the closet were plentiful. The bathrooms came stocked with plenty of toilet paper, but be sure to bring your own shampoo & conditioner because the sample packets provided would only accommodate one person's shower once. KITCHEN: The kitchen was well appointed with standard mismatched dishes, utensils, pans and other essentials. If you go fishing and catch anything worth keeping, take note: the knives are the dullest knives we've ever handled! You will need to bring your own knives to prepare any food items that require chopping. Additionally, there are no cleaning scrubbers / sponges, which makes clean up more challenging. The grill comes with plenty of propane and the kitchen was stocked with Cascade to run the dishwasher. Be advised: you will have an ant infestation if you leave ANY food on the counter, even sealed packages. We found out the hard way when we'd left an unopened box of donuts on the counter overnight. There is ant killer spray underneath the sink to take care of this problem. OTHER: Taxi transfers to/from the ferry are very easy and each way costs about $20. The golf cart is an appreciated and necessary perk. Our golf cart struggled to gain speed with two adults and four children, but none of the other drivers on the road seemed to mind. We used the golf cart for at least 3 roundtrips to/from town over the course of 4 days and per the rental agreement, we topped off the gas on our last day; we needed about 0.8 gallons at the gas station. We absolutely loved our stay in Avalon!
