Newly remodeled 2 bed/2 bath single level condo with an open floor plan. Comfortably accommodates up to six guests. Master bedroom is furnished with a Cal King bed, large mirrored closets plus an en suite master bathroom with a walk in shower. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and large closets. Main living space is equipped with a queen size sofa sleeper and a new 65 inch smart flat screen TV. Other amenities include complimentary high-speed wifi, stacked washer/dryer, a freshly updated kitchen with new appliances and a full size second bathroom. | This property boasts a beautiful 4th story peek-a-boo view of Avalon from the balcony. Occupants subject to Bahia Vista Condo Owners Associations Rules and Regulations. A20 | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

***Bahia Vista pool has re-opened. Hours of operation: 9am-9pm daily. The jacuzzi is only heated during the weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) until Memorial weekend. Both pool and jacuzzi will be heated from Memorial weekend to Labor Day and during Thanksgiving and Christmas break.**
This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups.
NO smoking, NO parties/events. NO pets allowed per HOA rules.
You must be 25+ years old to rent this property. No daytime visitors allowed.

Great relaxing visit

Enjoyed the 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with full kitchen. It was the perfect size and location for us. Very nice set up and quiet location. Had an awesome mini vacation. Highly recommend.

The property was fine, clearly old but kept up well enough. It was clean and comfortable. Location was also fine because it could be easily walked from the boat terminal. Biggest disappointment was that the pool and hot tub are under repair and look like they have been inaccessible for several years. It could have been communicated that these were not usable amenities. Another minor thing was that there was no hand soap, body soap or Kleenex. Luckily I had bought shampoo and body wash. Overall the property was fine but I would choose somewhere else next time.

This property was better than I expected. If your traveling with kids and or a family this is a large spaced out apartment. Super close walk to the main areas of catalina. Was able to get checked-in early which was super helpful. The pool was out of order but I had read the previous reviews and it also stated that but your at the ocean so don’t waste your time at a pool when the ocean is a 5-10 minute walk away. I highly recommend this place. The price is great compared to other places considering the size of unit it is with multiple bedrooms and showers

Island fun

The place was great. No AC was a shock especially since we stayed during a heat wave. They had lots of fans which made it bearable and the open windows helped a lot. The pool was not in service which was very frustrating since it was not disclosed. The condo itself was big and spacious. The decor was beautiful. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

No functional pool/spa, a little bit of a walk to downtown, but a nice and clean place

Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best it could have been due to a misleading, deceptive, and inaccurate listing that mentioned pool and spa access. Our kids were very excited to have a pool and we were looking forward to some spa time to unwind at the end of the day, but upon arrival, it was clear the pool/spa was under construction and not available for use. According to other reviews, this has been an issue since 9/2021 and our stay was in 3/2022, but the mention of pool and spa in the description remained. We made due, but a very disappointing experience that could have easily been avoided. The property was walkable to the downtown area for the most part, but might be a bit far with a family/toddlers/bags/etc. Both the living room and master bedroom are on the streetside, so there was some noise that could be tough for light sleepers, and if you had the windows open there was a strong odor of two-stroke gas that would make its way into the area. The place was very clean and had a refreshed look on it. The showers worked well, as did the appliances we used.

Apartment was spacious and well located. Wifi was very weak which made hard to work from “home” . Also, the second bedroom is right on the outside hallway so you get all the light inside at night. It will be great to add longer/thicker curtains. Other than that I am satisfied with my stay . The apartment was nice and had great views.

Spacious, comfortable & modern condo

Great condo for families. It has all what you need. It feels like home and you have great view to the Avalon bay. It is away from noisy streets. Pool was not working but if it is would be great value. Recommended.

Week long stay on Catalina with family.

This condo is spacious and a good deal. We knew it didn’t come with a golf cart, that it would be VERY hot without AC in the unit, and that the pool would not be open due to COVID. When you compare prices online , you realize that at this price point, there will be certain inconveniences. This condo on the 3rd floor faces the busy street and it can be a little loud at night. If you are a light sleeper, this might be an issue. The condo is nicely decorated. I liked the bed in the master. Plenty of towels.. No blender in the kitchen, but I just made due. It’s a nice condo at a fair price.

Spacious, Clean, Comfortable, Beautiful

We were shocked when we entered. It was so much larger than we expected. The layout is great. You can cook and interact with others, perfect. The furnishings were really nice and very comfortable. We only had 3 in our group, but could have easily had 6. The walk to town was very easy, no huge hills like other places we've stayed. Easy to the dock, Safeway and town. It's on the 3rd floor, so great view of the hills at night and partial water view. They have an elevator!! Yay!! The only drawback is that it's on the front of the property and the golf cart tour path can be a little active, at times. But not a deal breaker. Honestly, you if your enjoying your company, watching tv etc, you don't really notice. We would stay there again for sure. It would be perfect if it came with a golf cart (like Hamilton Cove), at least if the rental is longer than a weekend. That would be a huge value. Oh... the onsite pool was VERY clean and the overall environment was peaceful, made us feel like locals. 👍🏼

Nice, but not for 6

The condo is advertised as a unit for 6, which inherently means beds & bedding for 6. Upon arriving (in the VERY strict times for check in), we discovered there was not a full bedding set for the fold out couch. I called the office twice and was told someone would bring bedding/be in touch. Neither thing happened. I've reached out to the management company and still have yet to respond. The unit itself was nice, but I cannot recommend it as a condo for 6, not can I give good feedback on the management company, due to an utter lack of response and for how they handled by complaint both during and after my stay. Catalina is full of vacation rentals, so I'd find something else.

This property is a great location if you are staying on Catalina Island. The distance is close to everything and is a super nice property. The only knock is that the property does not have air conditioning. It was not that big a deal, but would have been nice.

Loved our stay!!

This unit is pretty much exactly as it appears in the pictures! The main condo complex it is in is an older complex, but this unit is newly remodeled, really clean and modern. The bathrooms were really well lit. The location is great - less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. We were deciding between this unit and units closer to the ocean, but we read a lot of reviews of the places that were closer had more noise. This unit is on a quiet street and removed from much of the bustle, but still close enough to walk to get around, and just a few blocks from the main Vons where we ran a lot of errands. Catalina Island Vacation Rental office was really easy to work with - both check in and out were super quick and the team was friendly. I lost an item and called them later and they were very quick to check the unit and follow up. The one small nitpick was I had no idea how to change channels on cable TV, but honestly that was probably for the best anyway! All in all a great experience for us!!

As advertised - clean and pleasant, nice pool area

We enjoyed our stay. I only gave 4 stars because it was hot and central air would have been nice, however, they did have several fans to help keep it cool and there was a pool in the complex to cool off. I would return.

Great Experience at Bahia Vista

The condo has been recently renovated in spectacular fashion. The unit proved to be the perfect size with all of the needed amenities including a pool and jacuzzi for when we wanted to escape the busy town.
