Conveniently located within walking distance of the many restaurants, bars, and shops found in Georgetown's beautiful town square, The Forest House is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway with friends or family.

This recently remodeled 1940s home sleeps up to 10 guests and boasts a brand new pool, covered patio, and all of the charm and amenities needed to ensure your stay here is unforgettable.
The space
Every inch of this charming home has been completely redone with you in mind! From the plush, memory foam mattresses to the thoughtful decor and amenities, you can comfortably relax with friends and family after a delightful day of strolling around "The Most Beautiful Townsquare in Texas" and experiencing all that Georgetown has to offer.

Don't want to leave the house? No problem! Step outside to gather beneath the oversized covered patio, play a few rounds of cornhole, or take a dip in our brand new pool.

You will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, so please treat this as your home away from home.
Other things to note
NO pets of any kind are allowed on the property. Violating this policy will result in a penalty fee of $200+ per day.

Pretty rough around the edges in-person. Lock on sliding door did not work correctly. Adjacent neighboring homes are not renovated. 4 cockroaches found during stay. Part of a broken glass found at bottom of pool. The queen and both full beds sank in the middle. Very uncomfortable. Also Justin accused us of smoking in property at checkout. Be advised, Justin does not have a customer first customer service style. Luckily our trip carried on wonderfully in spite of the accommodations.

The house was wonderful for us. We wished the pool would have been clean so we could have enjoyed it It was on of the reason we booked the house for the kids to have something to do with down time before the wedding. Other than that the house and everything thing else was clean. We would book again if we are ever back that way.

The house is even better than the description. The inside is decorated nicely. It was very clean, and had everything we needed. The pool is fantastic. Perfect for a girls trip. The cornhole and connect four was great. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Its very close to downtown - 3 to 5 min drive to the square. We will definitely book again.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The hosts were great and had clear communication, the pool was beautiful, the inside of the house was beautiful. Everything was super clean. This has been my favorite short term rental so far. The only thing I wish the house had was exhaust fans in bathroom for when showering because it steams up pretty bad and some more frying pans preferably bigger ones but that’s just me being nit picky. Absolutely great place and would stay here over and over again.

We loved the pool, nice quiet neighborhood, and not too far from main Georgetown attractions (around 45 min from Austin). Communication was quick with the owner and they let me adjust the dates after reserving. Everything was clean and we had no issues with anything on the property.

Great house!! The backyard was everything. The pool is perfection, water temp was supreme, all the fun yard games, shard and seating. Inside is so cute too! Comfortable beds, all the kitchen things, super location! If you’re visiting Austin, stay here!

Clean, Adorable, Fun place to stay

Loved this adorable home! Clean, well stocked, and excellent, prompt communication. The pool was amazing - loved the shallow area for cooling off in the sun. Kids loved swimming in deeper (5’ish) part of pool.

We loved our stay at the forest house! Host was great to work with, The grill was broke when we arrived and the host had a brand new grill delivered within a hour of letting him know! Loved the pool also! Great location!

Spring Vacation

Great property. Nice and quiet neighborhood. House was in great shape, with it pretty much furnished from Ikea. Back yard was spacious, and it was nice having the pool. Justin always reached out to let us know if the pool was to be clean or the yardwork was going to be done. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something close enough to Austin, but far enough away from the chaos of the city.

The Forest House is a cute property within walking distance of downtown Georgetown, where there are many great places to eat, drink, and relax. The property is very accommodating and a comfortable place to stay. The pool and backyard area are very nice.

Great place, a short walk to Georgetown centre

Stayed here with my family for 5 days on a trip to Texas. Great for small families, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are comfy. The swimming pool is the big selling point, great to get out of that humidity!
