Nestled on 33 private acres just minutes from the charming town of Dripping Springs, this 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom modern farmhouse is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and rustic charm. Whether you're sipping wine under the stars, exploring the on-site hiking trails, or enjoying a dip in the private pool and hot tub, this serene escape invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and just be. Guests are free to 'wander' around the farm, which has a pavilion, Pickleball court / workout area, large fire ring, porch swings, spring fed creek, trails, a small country store, indoor workspace, a handful of cute mini animals, and great natural areas to explore (map in listing pics:) If you are wanderin' please stay on trails / roads and off of other properties to respect fellow guests. Thank you!!! ** No early check-ins. Our team needs all the time we can get between stays to clean and prepare the space. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY ** Please be aware that our property is dog friendly. While dog owners agree to leash rules, guests should always ask the dog’s human for permission to pet or interact.

Dogs must stay on leash when outside and be crated when left alone in the cabin. Please keep pups off of the beds and furniture. Excessive animal impact on the cabin beyond light animal hair will be assessed additional cleaning fees of $50+.

Wanderin' Star Farms is located on Silver Creek Rd, between Dripping Springs and Bee Cave, TX, and has a gated entry. We share the road with Solaro Estate Winery and Prospect House wedding venue. Right around the corner on Fitzhugh to the west is Treaty Oak Distillery with Alice's Restaurant, Abby Jane's bakery and coffee shop, and Barton Springs Mill - all on the same property. Walking or biking on the roads beyond our little Silver Creek Rd can be tedious and dangerous, so we discourage it because the roads are very narrow and winding.
Hilltop Haven:
Welcome to Hilltop Haven, a spacious retreat at Wanderin’ Star Farms. Our Amazing Modern Farmhouse is located on a scenic ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. The house sleeps up to 8 guests on 5 beds, has a full kitchen, a cowboy pool, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pool table, shuffleboard, classic arcade games, outdoor games, washer / dryer, and plenty of space to relax. Take a long hike through the canyon, play a round of pickleball in the pavilion, or just enjoy the breathtaking view on the back deck. Everything you could ask for in the BEST location just west of Austin! The home’s open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area invites your guests to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Large windows offer a peak into the amazing Hill Country Views. The outdoor oasis begs for hours of play and relaxation and the screened porch has ample seating, a hot tub, and a Weber propane grill. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The other two guest bedrooms have queen sized beds. One is on the main floor and the other is in a small loft area above. They both share a full bathroom which is adjacent to the guest bedroom that is on the main floor. The loft area above the master bedroom has is a fun play room with a bunk bed, a half bath, and a balcony with the absolute best view in town! Kitchen has reverse osmosis filtered water (small faucet & water in fridge), full size refrigerator and freezer, stove/oven, microwave, popular cooking vessels and utensils, dish washer, Keurig coffee brewer and coffee pods plus all the coffee fixins - french press and water kettle if you happen to bring some coffee to press, and a tea pot + assortment of teas. ** No early check-ins. Down Fitzhugh to the east a half mile or so is Fitzhugh Brewing and Kitchen - fantastic beers and amazing chef curated menu. The Nest:
The1400+sf deck rises with multiple levels under huge live oaks for a fun hideaway in the heart of Dripping Spring's Fitzhugh District. The upper deck has swing chairs with a propane fire pit, propane grill, and dining table. Hill country vibe 'soaking trough' on lower deck. Inside is Tuft & Needle bed looking out the skylight, full bathroom with tub, coffee bar, kitchenette, Roku TV, bose sound, wifi, & work table. Wander around the 33 acres through the canyon, play a round of pickleball, hang out with some mini animals, or just breathe in the peaceful hillcountry air. The yurt is an actual wood-framed tent, and if you've heard of "glamping" (glamorous camping), that's what this is! While the yurt is a great shelter from the sun and the wind and most effects of the elements, the structure is not air tight and is subject to some fluctuations in temperature (though it has a large mini split a/c and heater to mitigate the temps), wind noise and occasional bugs :). So just so we're all clear, the yurt is a true glamping experience! The AWESOME parts of staying in a yurt are that you can hear the birds singing first thing in the morning, you can hear the breeze in the tree branches, and you feel like you're cheating nature a little as you awake in your cozy bed hearing the sounds of the hill country and watching the sunlight begin to beam in from the skylight dome! The Nest has screened windows which can be zipped opened or closed. The top of the yurt is an acrylic dome skylight where most of the light comes in. Cedar french door frames the entrance. Loved our cabin
We loved our cabin & enjoyed the covered balcony/deck area. Very nice amenities & everything well organized. Very close to restaurants, shopping & many small towns. Nice rides in hill country.

Private and Peaceful
It was just far away enough from town to feel truly private and peaceful. It has the wonderful sounds and sights of nature with modern amenities like air conditioning, warm showers, and comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again. Next time we'll bring our children. I think they would love the lift and the playground on the property.
