Greystoke House in a rural relaxed setting

  • Greystoke House is a brand new, fully self-contained home specifically designed for guests to enjoy. It has been built to also accommodate people with wheelchairs.

    It has a spacious, open plan, light and sunny living area which opens onto a sun-drenched deck. There are two good size bedrooms. Bedroom one has a Queen bed with ensuite. Bedroom two has a Super King bed (or it can be altered to become two singles). This property is suitable for 4 guests (not 6 as it states at the top of the page). (Please note, that if two people book Greystoke, they are booking one bedroom only. The second bedroom will be unavailable unless arrangements are made with the host).

    The main bathroom is large and spacious and meets all the requirements for guests with disabilities.

    Greystoke House is set in a relaxed rural setting, yet it is a 5 minute drive to Warkworth township which boasts lovely cafe's and shops, and is approximately 15 minutes to the popular Matakana.
    Matakana and the surrounding area boasts wonderful vineyards, wedding venues, beaches, golf courses, bush walks, cycle tracks, restaurants, swimming with the fish at Goat Island, or taking a ferry across to Kawau Island and much more. There is the famous Matakana farmers market every Saturday morning.

    After exploring all that this fabulous area has to offer, relax the evening away with a glass of wine whilst soaking in the spa, gazing at the stars.

    This home lends itself to more than simply a one night stay, rather it is a destination to escape from the hectic city life for a weekend of pure joy.

    Due to Covid-19 a cleaning fee has now been included, due to the fact it will take me triple of the amount of time required to complete all the requirements needed to provide a safe, disinfected house ready for guests to enjoy and relax in. I always pride myself in having a lovely clean home. Thank you for understanding.

We loved our stay at Greystoke. Everything about the place was perfect, including the well stocked/equiped kitchen, helpful info, great indoor and outdoor dining set up, spa, serenity. Would highly recommend.

Wow!

You cannot go wrong when booking this home that just radiates luxury. It is spacious, modern, and has all the extra features like heated floors in the bathroom, a rain shower and a spa. Would highly recommend, my partner and I had such a relaxing getaway for our anniversary.

Perfect Getaway

Great location and a beautiful house. Could not have asked for more. Very high spec house with all the bells and whistles, especially the kitchen. Very private and quiet location with lots of sun. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Gorgeous house in a gorgeous location with lovely hosts. The house is very high quality with modern amenities, a well stocked kitchen, excellent bedrroms and bathrooms. Felt like we were staying at a spa. Owners Kath and Dave are right next door if you need any help and are friendly and kind. This is right at the top of our list of VRBO houses we have stayed in. Warkworth is 10 minutes away with big groceries and restaurants and the beaches about 20 mins away.

Exceeded Expectations.

We spent an idyllic two weeks in Greystoke House. It is a modern, stylish, spotlessly clean accommodation with every amenity and then some! The setting is scenic and peaceful; so relaxing. The hosts, Kath & Dave were very friendly and helpful. We loved every minute there and highly recommend it. Roger & Charles. Illinois, USA.

Highly recommend!! What a delightful treat!!

The photos don't do this beautiful home justice. The designers did a great job where the house is modern and "homely" at the same time. Its elegant, warm and delicious. We loved eating cheese platters out on the balcony watching the sun go down and enjoying the views of the shetland ponies. And loved the spa. Thank you so much for letting us stay and enjoy your gorgeous home - we'll be back!!

A week to remember

This was a beautiful property. Very highly appointed. I found out my father passed while we were there. It was nice to remember him in such lovely surroundings. Highly recommend this listing.

Perfect getaway

We couldn’t have asked for anything more, the house was perfect. Kath and Dave were very respectful of our privacy yet welcoming upon our arrival. We all enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend it to anyone!
