Tahatai Cottage is a luxuriously appointed weather-board cottage in a wonderful central Oneroa location.
The home has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, open plan living and dining area and a family bathroom. It is the perfect spot for up to 4 guests.
Being located so close to Oneroa Village, you dont need a car to get to this property, with public buses and taxis readily available. If you do being a vehicle there is off-street parking for two cars on the drive.
The home is classic kiwi cottage, but has been lovingly renovated and maintained. Keeping many of its original features including panelled ceiling and hardwood floors, but with a modern kitchen, bathroom and heating system.
The main open plan living area is super comfortable with a luxurious couch, smart TV and high-speed internet. Next to the dining area is the kitchen complete with full size fridge freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. There is plenty of glassware, crockery and serving dishes. Outside on the deck is a Webber gas BBQ.
The dining area has seating for up to 6 and there is a further al fresco dining area on the deck, along with comfortable outdoor lounge seating. Also on the deck is the hot-tub, a wonderful feature of the property and a great place to unwind after a day exploring the island.
The bedrooms are made up with luxury pillow top mattresses. Both are king size and one of them can split into two king-single beds, giving options for two couples or one couple and two singles.
The bathroom is beautifully appointed with floor to ceiling tiles and a large glass cubicle shower. There is a laundry area next to the kitchen with a washing machine and dryer. The house is presented with luxury cotton linens, bathroom amenities including shampoo and body wash, as well as a selection of luxury teas and coffees to get you started.
You will find the cottage tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, artwork, books and games.
Right on the doorstep is Blackpool Beach and just a few minutes stroll away you will find Oneroa and Little Oneroa Beaches as well as the bars, cafes, restaurants and shops of Oneroa village.
This is a lovely space to spend time with family and friends and is sure to create many happy holiday memories.
