Cozy Room with King Bed in CBD w/ Gym and Pool!

Summary:
Welcome to this beautiful studio apartment right in the heart of Auckland City Centre! We have a super comfortable king sized bed, and guests can use the gym and pool in the building for free. We also provide you with free fibre internet so this place is great if you are looking for somewhere central to work or plan out the rest of your trip around New Zealand. We are located on the main street in Auckland so the Sky Tower, awesome shops, supermarkets - everything you need - is only a walk away!

The Space:
We have all the amenities and facilities a weary traveller could possibly need:
- Fibre WiFi - Super fast, unlimited & free!
- Coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper
- Shampoo, body wash and conditioner
- Giant King bed, swimming pool and gym

This is a studio apartment located on the main street in Auckland City Centre! Be in the heart of the action and have somewhere cozy to come back to after a long day of work or sightseeing. The location doesn't get any better than this!

Please note that the studio does not have a fully-equipped kitchen but does have a microwave as well as cutlery, plates and glasses.

Parking - There is valet parking at the apartment building for $40 per day, or you could use the AT parking at 50 Victoria Street East (5 mins walk) for $10 per day during the weekend, and $24 per day during the week.

Guest Access:
You can access the entire apartment, as well as the gym and swimming pool on the second floor.

The Neighborhood:
Queen Street is the heart of Auckland city. Everything you need is within walking distance from the apartment! Here are some suggestions for things to see on your visit:

Just up the road from the apartment (towards K Road) lies Aotea Square, Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter, and this will be put up soon. (5 minutes walking)

If you head North along Queen Street and then left along Quay Street you'll reach the Viaduct, which is where you'll find Auckland's amazing harbour, along with many bars and restaurants. The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari. (5-10 minutes walking)

If you head in the opposite direction along Queen Street (up the hill), you'll eventually reach Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road), where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for. (10-15 minutes walking)

If you head East you'll reach Albert Park, also just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden. (20-25 minutes walking)

If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a 3 minute walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station. (Bus and train)

Apart from these mini adventures, Queen Street itself is lined with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or dine out in, and tends to be a bit cheaper than Queen Street.

Getting Around:
Skybus stop right outside the building (the Skybus goes from the airport to the city centre), Britomart bus and train station (3 minutes walking)/ Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4 (5 minutes walking).

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.

Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from our Zodiak office in Auckland Central (the full address Level 2, Unit A210/52 Courthouse Lane, Auckland CBD), which is a 4 minute walk or 4 min drive away from the apartment. We provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. This is a different location to the property you’ll be staying at. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. We also have free WiFi access at our office in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.

Parking: We do not have a free carpark for this building but nearby paid parking options are available.

Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $65 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.

Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability..

Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.

Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (2x shampoo, 2x bodywash, 4x tea/coffee, 2x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.

Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.

Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.

Note: Washing machine currently out of order as we wait for a spare part to fix it completely. Please check with us before booking.

This is a professionally managed apartment so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.

Interaction with Guests:
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.
