Newly renovated home with an open and spacious floor plan! <br>

  • This newly renovated property has worn many hats in its life. Starting out as a church around 100 years ago and now recently transformed into a 3 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom home. With this 2000+ sqft single floor living, high ceilings, and a very open floor plan this home was built for entertaining. You will find that everything within its walls is new and has been completely redone. The full bathroom has a large walk-in shower with more shower heads than one could count on a single hand.

    This property is located in Painesdale which is about 10 miles from Houghton. Access to the snowmobile/atv trail is close by and you will find this property has plenty of parking for your vehicles, trailers, and toys. This home would make a great home base for large groups looking to get away in the U.P.

    Disclaimer: This property isn’t 100% finished and it’s current price reflects that. The fireplace doesn’t work, the deck hasn’t been built yet and some minor finishing trim work has not been completed. All these things will be getting done as time allows and will be noted.

The house was super clean and the check in process was very easy. The house is in a convenient location. We were in a blizzard warning while there and the host was super helpful and answered questions promptly. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

House was clean and as described. We received a lot of snow while there and the driveway was plowed multiple times. Plenty of room to have dinner and relax with games and movies. We were very comfortable for our 6 night stay for MTU graduation!

We love staying at this house. It is close to the Keweenaw, Michigan Tech, etc. And about an hour to a lot of other attractions. Kitchen is well stocked and the shower is nice (just be sure to space the showers out so the hot water heater can catch up).

Great Location. Copper Harbor is just over an hour away, and so many great places to visit less than a half hour in every direction. Host was very responsive. We had a great time.

We were all able to stay together, stayed in on rainy days and played game, close enough to enjoy local areas throughout the rest of the week. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our week!

Perfect place for my girl family trip. Property is located just off the main road which was actually quite convenient for us. Lots of room, very cozy beds, plenty of seating, lovely place. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if we came back!!

Great location if you’re looking to explore the Keweenaw and the Porkies. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Houghton. House has a very open floor plan is very modern. Great space to hang out in between excursions.

Very spacious home with modern updates to a historical building. Bit noisy due to being so close to a main road, but with the AC units in each bedroom and in the main living space it was easy to drown it out. Host was great to work with especially when our phone map was trying to take us to a non existent place, the host sent us a pin so we could get to the right place. Will definitely consider staying there again
