Atlantic City stay

Cute & Cozy

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, cozy, a great location to all the AC sites & just the perfect size for my family. The street was quiet & felt safe. Our host responded quickly to my emails. I woud definitely stay here again & recommend to others.

Great time!

I hope anyone visiting AC doesn't expect the neighborhood to be top notch. When I stayed at this property, not everything was perfect but it was definitely better than other properties I've stayed at in AC. The neighborhood wasn't disturbing, fairly quiet but I wouldn't recommend walking the streets at night alone in my opinion. House was fairly clean, minor flaws but the interior was beautiful! I stayed with a couple of my friends and they had no issues as well. We were only booking this house for a place to sleep but we ended up spending the rest of the night in the house so it was a good time. Anna was very communicative with us and provided all necessary things. (wifi, utensils, electronic kitchen appliances) The only thing I would highly recommend bringing if you book this stay is either a device you can hook up to the TV or a netflix/roku account. We weren't informed there was no cable and that the tv was operated via wifi but we managed to find else to do other than watch tv. Overall, good place to stay for the weekend. Especially in AC!

Great Stay

This house was perfect for our group of 3 ladies. So nice to have our own bedrooms. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The location wasn't super close to the boardwalk, but Uber's were affordable and always available. My only negative comments would be- pots and pans in very poor condition and it would have been nice to have a towel rack in the bathroom and hooks in the bedrooms. We would definitely choose this property again when visiting Atlantic City.

AC on a Budget

This property was a great value for my friends and I visiting Atlantic City for the weekend. We basically just needed a place to sleep, so a no-frills property was fine with us. The neighborhood didn't seem like it was the greatest, but we didn't have any issues. The location was good because Uber rides to casinos were only a few minutes. Air conditioning is via window units. It was hot out during our stay, but after running the units for a while it cooled down fine inside. Anna was very easy to communicate with!

Home located close to everything!

Took my kids on vacation. The home was close to everything. We spent most time on the Beach and Boardwalk but also set time aside for the outlet shopping and a visit to the casino. We had a nice stay and the home was everything we needed to make our trip complete. Made some great memories and we all left with sun burns. Thank you so much for having us! I left a cutting board and hand can opener for future guests to use.

Stay at the shore

I lived in Atlantic City for many yrs. My family still lives there. This property is located in one the the better neighborhoods. The surrounding houses where quiet and well kept. Plenty of room inside and outside. Off street parking helped us a lot. I would recommend this property for a family and/or pets to enjoy.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! This was the worst house we ever rented.

When we pulled up to this property there were many homeless people on the side of the road be garbage all over the place. The pictures look NOTHING like what the place really looks like. We took an Uber to the boardwalk and the driver said he almost wasn’t going to come when he saw the address of the place. The house didn’t have much furniture and the beds were not comfortable. When I spoke with the owner they said they have never received feedback like this, but as I looked at reviews I saw similar comments. DO not book this place!

Great little getaway!

Overall the house was good, everything was clean and in working order. The only real issue I had was that there was no AC in one of the bedrooms (and the online listing says there is AC in all bedrooms) and it was extremely hot in there! I also with there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. It was a sauna in there after you showered! I would rent the house again, it was good for the price! The neighborhood was very quiet and just the perfect distance from the boardwalk and other attractions!

Read for an Accurate and Honest Review

The outside of the house was not what we expected. It's not welcoming at all! Honestly it was kind of scary pulling into the driveway, like a horror film, especially with the broken and crooked blinds. This house is NOT the picture from the Google Maps street view. There is no fenced in yard. Not clear where the yard begins or ends in the back compared to the neighbor's. - Early check-in was not an option. - Trash cans outside were full. We arrived on a Monday, so they clearly were not emptied the Thursday before (the trash pick up day) - The WORST part: TRASH (i.e. Cheeto bags, etc) on the front lawn and BROKEN GLASS. We had to spend the beginning of our arrival cleaning up outside glass (huge & tiny pieces) and debris as to not hurt ourselves or our dog. - The chairs on the porch are super low and do not have any cushions. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Empty flower pot on porch. Again, not welcoming. - The living room has very minimal furniture and the "end tables" (I think that's what they were) are broken. - The blinds in every window are broken and need to be replaced. - Each room does not have an AC unit as stated in description, only 2 out of the 3. The AC units are old and dirty and you will still be HOT. Sleeping was very uncomfortable because it was so hot! It does not reach anywhere unless you sit right in front of it. - Clock on wall doesn't work. - If you read the review that mentioned ants, I saw one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom upon arrival and that was it. However, there were gnats and a couple other bugs. Positives: The street is skeptical compared to the nicer parts of AC, but eventually we did feel safe and the home alarm system offered a sense of security. Street is pretty quiet at night (we stayed Mon- Wed), well lit at night and there's a cool view of the Borgata. Great location! Uber ride to Harrah's was 5 minutes. Car ride to boardwalk and beach are 8 minutes. The Margate City Dog Park is a 17 minute drive. I'm not sure why the owner says the beach is an 8 minute walk. It's an 8 min drive and according to Google Maps a 30 min walk. Lastly, allowing our dog of course! And there were no odors from the previous guests who brought their pets. Overall, if I was in my early 20s, I'd probably think this place was great, but at almost 40 this is not it! Great potential, but this home is lacking care and attention. This was definitely the best VRBO deal in this area that allowed pets. Take away: You get what you pay for.

Poor-Average stay at this abode.

Pictures were accurate to the stay.. However it was the coldest weekend of the summer (60<) and we werent able to close the windows cause of AC Units & the heat didnt work... Trash from the previous people staying wasnt picked up & smelled awful.. Poor responses from host upon stay.. I messaged the host about early check in (1 Hour early) and recieved no response. Also had to go buy toilet paper cause we ran out and weren’t recieving responses to see if they had more.. Overall stay 4/10

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It is located very close to the beach, neighborhood food spots, and Tanger Outlets. The only issue we had was it was cold in the house and we couldn’t get the heat to work.

This is a 3 bedroom home with 2 baths, unfortunately, the beds are low to the floor the hardwood floors are stained the walls were dirty and needed to be painted. The few pieces of furniture that were there were broken, the kitchen had ants and very little cooking wear. The street is a lot busier than made seem. Overall for a nice getaway this is not the place to go. I did not enjoy the stay I just dealt with it. Again filtered photographs

Not what we'd hoped.

This is my first VRBO fail, and shame on me. The photos are somewhat accurate, though we now understand why there are no photos of the exterior. The grass was uncut, and a good deal of litter had accumulated on this corner lot, including a carpet on the lawn. Someone did arrive on day two, to cut the grass and remove the carpet. While the house was clean, overall maintenance of the property lends a feeling of "unclean." Window AC units are on the floor of closets, uncovered and still with road-dust, etc. from last season - you don't even want to hang your coat. Base moldings don't meet the flooring, leaving gaps. Exterior doors don't properly seal. The windows need a good cleaning. There is no furniture to put your clothes in or on. No coat rack. The living room felt empty and cold. No ottoman, coffee table or side chair. No carpet. Uncomfortable couch and not enough seating for this family of three adults to sit together and watch a movie on a rainy day. On the upside, the bed linens and towels where clean and white! Plenty of toilet tissue and paper towels provided. We were thankful to be permitted to bring our pets.
