Minutes away walking: beach/casinos/attractions, bars/dining/outlets/more, our chic home is perfect for families & adult groups. With fun decor, cozy living areas & bay views from the deck, every moment is filled with fun. Our residential Chelsea North location is ideal for exploring and/or relaxing, day or night. Features 2 Floors, each with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths (6 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths total for the whole house), amenities like beach carts, Grill, yard w/fire pit, outdoor dining table, games, parking for 1-2 cars & more. Welcome to our property! We take great pride in ensuring that you have a wonderful stay. We have developed these rules for the mutual enjoyment of guests & neighbors alike. They were also developed with guest comfort in mind, while managing costs and minimizing disruption to future guests. All rules must be agreed to prior to door code being released. PLEASE READ ALL, VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
GOVERNMENT IDs REQUIRED Government IDs Required for all guest over the age of 18. This is a requirement of our insurance, is only used to verify identity and is not stored or shared with any other party. Please note that if we have not verified the ID, we will not be able to send check in instructions.
NO PARTIES! Excess noise is not permitted in the house. Again NO PARTIES!
We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum.
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) all guest are liable for any and all damages including legal fees. Thank you!
SMOKING >Smoking is only permitted outside, on the balcony and butts must be disposed in the ashtray (not thrown off). >No smoking of any kind is permitted in the house/apartment/condo – guests will charged a $250 fine plus the cost to remove smoke from the unit. >Please be kind and smoke elsewhere outside if guest in the other unit are using their deck or backyard while you are outside in those areas (on your deck/in the shared backyard).
PETS We love animals and allow 2 pets per stay. Please be considerate of the house and our neighbors. Pets must not be left unattended at any time and are NOT permitted on the furniture. Please keep pets leashed when outside, and promptly clean up any pet waste. Use provided pet waste bags and dispose of them in the trash cans located under the deck. You may be charged post stay for any damages. Any violations will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund of any portion and removal/vacating the property. If this happens, you agree to accept such charges and not dispute them via your credit card company, without prejudice.
TOILETRIES
We are all busy, and when it's time to relax, we don't want to have to run out for the little things we may have forgotten. WE UNDERSTAND AND RELATE. As such, Toiletries are provided as a courtesy to guests in the event that they’ve forgotten something. They are not complimentary gifts like you would find in a hotel. Excessive use of toiletries will result in a $25 restocking fee.
TOWELS AND LINENS: Please do not stain the white towels. We ask that you not use towels to clean up blood, dirt or any other unsanitary messes. Please use paper towel found in the kitchen instead. Excessive use of towels or linens may result in an extra laundry fee. Extra linens are provided when the number of overnight guests exceeds 2. Please, 2 Bath Towels, 1 hand towel & 2 facecloths per guest. All makeup must be removed prior to using the pillows. Removal of makeup from the linens is very difficult and time consuming. There are make-up removing wipes next to the sink in the bathroom. There are extra linens in the top of the closet in each respective bedroom.
Enjoyment: Guests are welcome to enjoy the balcony during their stay. Safety First: For the safety of all guests, please refrain from throwing any items off the balcony. Child Supervision: Parents and guardians must closely monitor children while on the balcony, as there are no child gates provided. Balcony Usage: If renting a portion of the property and not the entire house, guests should only utilize the balcony associated with their designated unit (e.g., Unit A balcony or Unit B balcony). Owner Liability: Guests acknowledge that the owner is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur on the balcony. These rules aim to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests while staying at our Airbnb property.
EXTERIOR CAMERAS NOTICE AND WIFI RULES: Exterior cameras (doorbell cameras on each level deck area on the front of the house and floodlight security cameras on the sides of the house that face the street/driveways) have video and audio recording and are for the protection & safety of our guest and for the security of our house. If cameras are covered up, removed, unplugged or disconnected from wifi (e.g. wifi is shut off which is prohibited), it will result in a $1,000 fee and immediate removal from the property.
GENERAL KITCHEN/HOUSE/GARBAGE We can also be forgetful and may not always think about the one offs. This is far from exhaustive, just a few thoughts/ask:
Guests must treat our home with respect and please keep the place tidy. We do a thorough cleaning, but guests should generally pick up after themselves and not leave an excessive mess or garbage lying around. Please do not wash dishes by hand. There are dishwasher tabs under the sink. Use tabs only if running dishwasher, do not use liquid soap/detergent. Please wipe counters and cooktop after cooking. Smelly garbage must be disposed of in the garbage cans under the first level steps in front of the parking pads before the smell fills the unit. Do not use metal utensils on the pots, pans or frying pans.
LAUNDRY A starter pack of Laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets are provided to guests and located in the laundry room, directly across from the living room/dining room. Please do not overstuff washer or dryer, as it could result in damages.
CANDLES Candles are not to be used, as they pose a significant fire hazard. Flashlights are available in the top kitchen drawer (3rd to right of fridge) for use at the house and must be returned prior to departure.
OVERNIGHT GUEST All overnight guests must be registered within the reservation request; max number of overnight guests is 6 per unit (6 Unit A, 6 Unit B or 12 total if renting entire house with both units). Visitors to the guests should not exceed (for a max number of 9 people in the unit at any one time); visitors must be cleared with J.C. Johnson prior to inviting them over and are prohibited from staying/sleeping over/spending the night.
THERMOSTAT Please feel free to adjust the temperature up or down – we respectfully ask that you try not to set it higher than 78F or lower than 64F. A $25 fee may result if the thermostat is set outside of this range and can be levied in the resolution center.
NO Glitter, Confetti, Hair Dye, Kinetic Sand or similar substances. None of these or similar substances that hang around LONG past checkout. If this rule is broken, additional cleaning fees will be charged.
RENTAL AGREEMENT We are excited and look forward to you joining us. Prior to your arrival, we would ask you to sign a rental agreement that we will send separately.
FEES We take our Airbnb business and these rules very seriously. For most guests these will be common sense, but in some cases they may not be obvious to all. Fees for disrespecting our house/apartments and violating these rules will be levied through the resolution center in accordance with the Airbnb and any other booking site Terms of Use. You agree to accept such charges and not dispute them via your credit card company, without prejudice.
