Quiet Stay

The home had more than enough room for six people in my party. There is air conditioner units in the windows. The place was very clean and organized. Nice neighborhood.

Chouette séjour familial

Une maison située dans un quartier plutôt calme. Elle est bien équipée pour répondre aux besoins des personnes qui séjournent. L'utilisation de la laveuse/secheuse n'est pas incluse dans le tarif tel qu'indiqué lors de notre réservation. Il y a des frais supplémentaire pour ça. La propriétaire est très rapide pour répondre en cas de besoin.

Doesn't disappoint

Just want to start by saying I never write reviews...ever. But I want anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in AC to know to look no further than this gem of a spot! Besides its great location...close to really everything...great places to eat, casinos, boardwalk and a sweet little beach area called Gardners Basin - this house has it ALL! The house owner-Berthille is a fantastic host- from making it very easy to check in, setting out a sweet welcoming bottle of Sangria, the baskets of towels and toiletries in every room, the convenient BBQ grill ...to the great backyard to relax after your day in town... she has thought of it all! This house has EVERYTHING you could ever need to have a great getaway! I highly recommend this listing!

Would not stay again

While it seemed like the house was cleaned and tidied up there were old food items left throughout the kitchen and in the fridge, including a very moldy bag of something I could not identify in the cupboard. The thing that bothered me more was the check-in/check-out experience. I received a confirmation email from vrbo showing my check in time was 4pm Thursday and check out by noon Sunday. On Thursday around 6pm we entered the property to find the alarm system going off, which we were never given a code for, so of course a blaring siren which I had to call the host to turn off. Then at 11:15am on Sunday I received several calls from the host telling me that I was supposed to check out by 11 or I’d be charged. I sent a screenshot of the confirmation email which clearly showed that the checkout time was listed as noon but nonetheless hurried to leave the property ASAP. Instead of being understanding or apologetic for the misunderstanding, she argued with me. Needless to say, I would not stay here again.

Very Nice Beach Vacation

My friends and I stayed at this house for our annual trip and overall we had a very positive experience. The owner was very reachable and friendly and the house itself was just as pictured in the description. Everything was well maintained, and the owner made us all complimentary baskets of toiletries. The only negative was that the central air conditioning wasn't very strong so it did get warm inside the house at times, however there were fans in each room as well as an overhead fan for the living room. All in all we had a great vacation and this house was a great place to stay.

Great Find!

We really didn't know what to expect when we booked this home for our vacation! However everyone enjoyed the house, especially the 90 inch TV!!! The location was great, close to everything and every where we wanted to go to (Ocean City, Margate City, Ventnor City, AC, of course). The house was well stocked with plenty of breakfast items, snacks, Italian Ice, and even drinks - thank you!! - that was not expected at all! The only downside is having just one bathroom, but we made do with what we had and with everyone on different "wake up" schedules, it all worked out. Thank you for an awesome vacation week!

Such a pleasurable stay! Amazing hospitality with a super homey feel! Complimentary towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap were an excellent touch and very helpful. Would recommend anyone staying here! Host is amazing!

Exactly as listed

Everything pictured in the listing was present. The only thing not listed was the decorative well in the back yard. Check in process is great since you have to call the property owner whenever you have to enter the house (no key/passcode is provided). This is not a problem since the Berthille usually answers right away. I gave the property 4/5 stars for cleanliness since there was some small pieces of garbage in garbage bins in the house when I checked in. But overall bed sheets, towels bathroom and kitchen were clean. The neighborhood felt save and friendly. One of the neighbors actually said hi in passing as I throw some garbage out. And it is a short drive from the boardwalk. Overall great stay and I would stay here again if available.
