- Fully equipped kitchen if you like to cook and many terrific restaurants nearby if you don't.

A Place at the Beach is located in beautiful Atlantic Beach. This portion of Atlantic Beach has the widest beach on the island. This oceanview condo is on the courtyard side of Building L overlooking the playground, large pool with waterslide, and a great view of the ocean. Building L, where unit 210 is located, has an elevator and a coin operated laundry - both located very close to the condo. This condo is in a resort location with many amenities, such as: large pool with waterslide, indoor pool with jacuzzi, outdoor jacuzzi, playground for the kids, mini golf, table tennis, shuffleboard, corn hole, outdoor bowling, lighted tennis court and basketball court, gas and charcoal grills, picnic tables, gazebo with swing to watch the sunsets, and direct beach access. All needed extras are available for check out in the resort office from tennis racquets to corn hole bags.

A Place at the Beach offers free WiFi and onsite security.

The town of Atlantic Beach also has a very nice skate park, splash pad and playground a short distance from the resort.

Enjoyed our stay at A Place At The Beach. While the property is a bit dated....(I don't ever mind that as long as the unit is clean.) The unit, bathrooms and bedroom were clean and comfortable. The location and ammenities are very nice-(beach access and nice pool and property.) We had a wifi password issued that the owner was able to help us with. My negative is that the couch was extremely dirty and stained- to the point that we kept towels on it for our stay. If it were not for the couch I would have given 5 stars.

This property was perfect for two people. We love staying at A Place At The Beach because of the location, easy access to the beach and the many opportunities for fun activities. The condo was clean and has easy access to stairs. We had some difficulties with the key on check in but the manager's office was on top of it. Great customer service. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The resort had good amenities--indoor pool, outdoor pool with water slide, well kept grounds, etc. The laundry was in the same building as the condo which was very convenient. The beach was a short distance via a wood boardwalk.The condo itself needed a deep cleaning (heavy dust was on the baseboards with litter and dust under the beds). A 2023 magazine was in a bedroom. The closet only had 3 old wire hangers for clothes. There was so much in that closet that there was no place to put my suitcases or shoes. The main bedroom had only one nightstand with a lamp. (There was a ceiling fan with bright lights over the bed--not typical bedroom lighting.) Since this room is for a couple, a second bedside table and lamp are needed. I had to put my book and reading glasses on the floor. The bed had a mattress cover which made crinkling sounds. The kitchen/hall light was very dim to work in the kitchen. A fluorescent kitchen light was a naked bulb at my eye level which projected light to my eyes instead of to the counter. The kitchen cabinets need to be reorganized to find things and toss some items. The dishwasher didn't clean dishes well, so I handwashed items. I enjoy movies, so I picked a condo with a DVR. I rechecked the listing to be certain when a storm was predicted. An old DVR which didn't work was there. The host didn't know anything about a DVR indicated that I could just watch TV which was a major disappointment for my week long stay.

Enjoyable family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The staff at “A place at the beach” take their jobs very seriously, so there was a little hiccup in the check in process. However, overall we had a great stay. The owners were very responsive to questions . The pool was very nice and the water slide was so fun for the kids. We would stay here again!

I would do a 4.5 rating honestly. The take aways are there was sand in the apartment (not too shocking - it’s the beach) but there was substantial dust in areas. The kitchen is galley and hard to do much in at all (try to eat out). It is also has small moving room but with the amenities, it’s not a huge problem. The porch door was very hard to open and didn’t seem stable but we kept it unlocked. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the mattress covers made a lot of noise. But good place to snack up, shower and sleep. Amazing amenities and so close to the beach. It is a great stay and we will definitely come back to the community next year.

We had a great trip. The condo was clean and comfortable for the three of us (2 adults and 1 child). We had a great view of the pool, grounds and beach. The only improvement that could be made is the kitchen equipment needs an upgrade as some of the posts were very dated (one had rust in the bottom. Overall we had a great time.

Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation! My daughters and I enjoyed all the amenities and easy access to the beach. Only issue was internet was spotty because they were working on it during our stay which my young adult children were not a fan of lol. Everything else was perfect and the place is beautiful!

We enjoyed staying at A Place at the Beach. Lots of fun things to do and right on the beach. The kitchen in this unit was a galley type kitchen with not much room to cook. Perfect if you plan to eat out most of the time.

Perfect for a small family vacation

Great place to stay

The property was fantastic and the condo was very nice. The perfect size for our family. We only had one issue, we placed shells found on the banister outside the condo and every morning we came out to head to the beach and someone had pushed the shells off the banister down several floors to the ground. Wish people would supervise their children and teens and teach them how to treat other people’s property.

Great stay

Owners are fantastic to work with and will accommodate adjustments if possible. I have rented at least five other units at APAB over the past dozen years and have found one with the amenities that suit me. Nice decor, comfortable beds, good appliances, comfortable LR furniture, near the elevator and laundry. Not to be overlooked are a laundry line with clothespins on the balcony to air dry bathing suits and towels so you don’t have to drape them over chairs or the tub. No small thing when ABAP doesn’t want those things hanging on the balcony rails. Also much appreciated are the tall balcony chairs so you can appreciate the ocean view this unit has. Some units have 24” high chairs and you can only see the balcony rail, which is a bummer. I highly recommend this unit.

Overall good experience

Property grounds are very well kept and maintained at A Place at the Beach! Pool is very clean. Check-in is very quick and easy. Parking was never an issue even during a busy holiday week. Our room was very beautiful and more comfortable compared to the bare bones unit we were in last year. Many supplies were available to us such as toilet paper, paper towels, charcoal, cooking supplies, etc. Clear instructions were given by the owner for arrival and departing. I did try to give the owner a call on arrival as instructed by the front desk to the number provided by the owner but received “this number is not accepting calls at this time” message and then followed with a text with no reply. The room was surface cleaned as far as the bedding, bathrooms, and wiped down surfaces, but the unit as a whole needed a deep clean as far as rugs, dusting, and spot cleaning furniture as I’m sure these rooms get used a lot. The HVAC filter needed changed as well. Also, management needs to find a better way to identify those staying on property rather than adult size wristbands that are supposed to be kept up with by kids all week long, or invest in some child sized bands. We had a wonderful stay and made a lot of great memories. I would 100% recommend this property and owner.

Wonderful trip

My family had a wonderful vacation. The amenities were amazing-pool with a water slide, mini golfing, beach, food trucks, poolside bingo- we were never bored. Sitting out on the deck was always relaxing. We were close enough to restaurants and other things to do also! The internet was spotty in the condo which would impact the Roku but nothing to be worried about! Looking forward to many more trips here!
