This 300 sq. ft. studio is ideal for 2 adults and can accommodate up to 3. Please consider the compact size when booking to ensure it’s the right fit for your stay.

same oceanfront complex — including side-by-side options — perfect for staying close while enjoying extra space and privacy. Please reach out and we’ll be happy to help find the best options for your needs.

☞IMPORTANT NOTE:
To create a more open and spacious shower area, the bathroom was reconfigured with a bathtub installed in the shower space, and the vanity was removed. The kitchen sink now serves as the primary sink for the unit.
This layout works well for most guests, but we like to share this detail in advance to ensure expectations are clear and there are no surprises during your stay.

[HOUSE RULES]
☞By booking this property, guests acknowledge and agree to comply with all house rules, additional rules, and disclosures listed.

1. NO SMOKING
• Ocean Sands is a non-smoking community. Smoking is permitted only on the beach or by the fence along Fort Macon Road, away from all common areas, including the gazebos.
• Smoking, vaping, and drug use are strictly prohibited inside the unit and in all common areas within the community.
•A minimum $200 smoke remediation fee will be assessed if evidence of smoking is found. Additional charges for deep cleaning, damage, or disruption to future reservations may apply.

2. PET POLICY
•No animals permitted in this unit due to owner allergies.
• Pet-friendly units are available — guests traveling with animals should not book this unit and may request assistance finding a suitable alternative.
• Unapproved animals are not permitted and may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund and/or a $200 additional cleaning fee.

3. PARKING PASS & KEYS
• One (1) parking pass is provided. A second pass may be arranged prior to your stay for $25.
• Parking passes must be clearly displayed at all times. Vehicles without a pass are subject to towing.
• Parking passes are HOA-controlled items. A $200 fee applies for any lost or unreturned passes.
• Guests are responsible for all keys.
•$100 lockout fee | $50 lost key replacement fee
• Lockouts occurring between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM will require the guest to arrange and pay for a locksmith.

4. STORM DOOR
• The storm door must be closed immediately when entering or exiting the unit.
• Due to strong coastal winds, guests are responsible for any damage caused by failure to properly secure the door.

5. OCCUPANCY POLICY
• Occupancy is limited to the number of guests listed on the reservation. No unregistered guests are permitted.
•The base rate includes up to 2 guests. There is a $15/night fee for each additional guest.
•All guests (including children) must be included in the reservation prior to check-in.

6. SUBLEASING is not permitted. Reservations may not be reassigned without prior written host approval. A valid photo ID matching the reservation name may be required.

7. Guests agree to accept full responsibility for themselves and all occupants during the stay, including any damages, violations, or fees incurred.

8. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the host, agent, property management, Ocean Sands HOA, and Board of Directors from claims or damages arising from their stay.

9. The host, owner, or authorized representatives may enter the unit during reasonable hours for inspections, maintenance, or emergencies. Emergency and health/safety checks may occur without prior notice, similar to hotel practices.

Location was great. Short walk to beach. Great view. The room was small, which I knew , but the layout could be improved with minimal effort. No space at all to cook / prepare anything. Shower too low ( need to bend over if over 5’5”).

Location is great

Property was convenient to beach access and local shopping. Semi private beach, so it wasn’t overly crowded. The only problem with the stay was we only had 1 towel and 1 wash rag for 2 people and housekeeping wouldn’t answer their phone. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Get Away

This was just what we needed for a quick getaway. The view is beautiful, and we could ride our bikes to restaurants and shops. The description was accurate, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet in the evenings. The amenities were basic but all you needed, we cooked one meal in and ate out the rest of the weekend.

My parents and I had been wanting to see Emerald Isle and decided to take a last minute trip there. We found this unit to be perfect for our lil stay. Everything was exactly as pictured. We loved the view and all agreed it was one of the best things about the place.

Listing stated that it is an an old motel that has been renovated. We reserved two nights. Shortly after we arrived, I contacted the host to say we were not pleased with the unit and would not be able to stay the second night. If I had not worked all that day, and drove almost 2 hours to get there (arriving after 8:30) I would not have stayed the one night. We checked out the next morning. They were kind enough to refund us the second night fee.

Great beach!

The room was clean, but quite small. I would recommend it for two people. Three would be quite cozy. There is a great view of the beach and chairs outside on the deck to have your morning coffee. The stretch of beach was quiet and uncrowded. We enjoyed our stay.
