  • Cozy beach getaway condo at A Place at the Beach! L building

    2 bedroom and 2 bath condo with well stocked galley kitchen. 1 Queen, 3 Twin Beds.

    A Place at the Beach is family friendly and family fun, you won't be disappointed. Waterslide, playground, sports courts, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, fire pit, grilling station and, of course, the direct beach access!

    Linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring Beach Towels.

    Beach toys and beach chairs provided in the unit.

    Easy parking, laundry room across the hall.

    Resort property. Family friendly. This is a small condo, 684 sq feet, so I recommend families with smaller children to stay here. Unless you're comfortable staying in a small condo and just happy being at the beach. Do not recommend for more than 2-3 adults total (bunk beds have little head room). Bunk beds with a trundle (provides 3 twins total).

Great place to stay for family of 4

Went for a quick 2 night trip. Very clean and adequate room for our family of 4 which includes 2 young teens. Host was easy to communicate with, checkin was a breeze. Pool area was very nice, easy walk to beach access. Would definitely stay here again.

Girls weekend getaway

We had a great stay at the condo. The weather was perfect, except for the flooded parking lot; which is out of the owners control. The pool and the grounds were spotless. Very enjoyable.

Weekend getaway

Our condo was beautiful and well decorated! Very clean and very well equipped! The location was perfect! We will definitely go back! We hadn’t been to Atlantic beach in years and we discovered this past weekend all that we had been missing! Thank you Traci for a perfect stay

LOVED IT

I would stay here again in a hearbeat. Small issue with the digital doorlock needing batteries replaced but the owner was immediately on top of it :) The unit location is PRIME - minimal steps, right across from the laundry room, short walk to the indoor & outdoor pools and the BEACH <3

Absolutely wonderful!

The unit was immaculate when we arrived with everything you need for a great stay. The location is great and the entire property was clean and safe. Beach access was really close with plenty of areas to rinse off sand. The pool and water slide were also extremely clean and so much fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, it went above and beyond my expectations.

Sharing a Beautiful Place with my Family

I’ve stayed at A Place at the Beach in October with friends right across from this condo. It was a blessing to have this experience with my family. The condo had everything that we needed, we enjoyed the environment, and my kids loved the amenities. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely decorated condo. It was bright and airy, just right for our visit. Information received was accurate and helpful. 4 yr old grandson really liked the pretty, unusual fan/light fixtures!

Responsive owner and cute place

We stayed for a week at 140; my 3 boys enjoyed their room and I actually quite enjoyed the firm mattress! Communication from the owner was great. We were there during tropical storm debby so unfortunately our overall time in AB was impacted.

Great room, thoughtfully furnished

This was a great condo! You could tell they put thought into everything in it so it didn’t feel cramped. They had games for the kids and some beach items. Loved the stocked kitchen, they had everything you’d need. Even had things we forgot like a small cooler for our babies bottles.

Great spot for the beach

We're big fans of APATB and this was a great location there. 2 adults and a teen, perfect amount of space. Easy walk to pool and beach. So NICE being on 1st floor. Quick and easy load in/out. Condo was clean, great coffee offering, nice kitchen. One thing.......VERY firm mattress. Be prepared!

We’ve stayed before, we love the place and this specific unit.. it is clean and perfect for our small family. Only downside was so many ridiculous “extra fees” for VRBO. Try to rent direct to avoid paying double.

The unit was clean and well-furnished. The beach decor was awesome. Many extras, such as games, beach chairs, etc., were included. There was plenty of room for all five of us. We had difficulty with the screen door. It would stick and cause us to be locked out of the room. Also, many dishes were still dirty, although they had been put in the cabinet. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Family Experience - Terrific Host

It was apparent the unit we stayed in was planned by a very thoughtful and gracious host. We ate in for almost every meal and absolutely everything needed to bake or cook was there. (First place to ever have a muffin pan, yay!) Thoughtful amenities like drying racks, games, beach/pool toys and a starter supply of paper products were so appreciated. The unit is directly across the hall from the laundry which was so convenient with children. A Place at the Beach is exceptionally maintained and has so many activities that there was always something fun to do. The grandchildren loved both pools, the basketball and pickleball courts, mini golf, ping pong and the bingo and shark teeth hunt. We look forward to returning!

I’d title this review “Five Stars BUT”..First, ill start with the PROs:- Location is great! A two step walk to the laundry unit and a two minute walk to the beach and pool.- Complex amenities are wonderful! Lots to do with easy check-in/check-out process - Great, thoughtful condo amenities. Loved the little adds from storage bags, to trash bags, to bathroom amenities, to coffee k-cups and much more! - Amazing host. There’s something to be said about a wonderfully kind, attentive and communicative host.Couple CONs:- Master tub can clog (Draino provided) - Cannot run more than one thing at a time on single kitchen outlet- Unit is SMALL.. like VERY tight for two adults and two toddlers. Especially the kitchen. There’s virtually no counter space. (Did not take off stars because of host’s quick response in attempt to resolve issues OR my deem of con was merely my own underestimation/oversight from listing details)

Beach Vacay 2023

We truly enjoyed our stay at Unit 140. The decorations and condo were super cute. The convenience of having the laundry room right across from the unit was a plus. Our couple complaints we had were we only had 4 towels. We had 5 guests. There was no extra toilet paper only what was left on the rolls and no extra trash bags. I brought them with us thank goodness. Lastly we had to use the trundle bed it had no sheets on it and when we pulled it out we had the clean under it. Minor issues truly. We had an amazing week.
