Welcome to your stylish retreat in historic Decatur — a spacious, newly renovated home designed with families, large groups, and business travelers in mind. Nestled on a quiet street just minutes from Atlanta’s top attractions, this property combines modern luxury with warm, inviting comfort.

Step inside to an open-concept living space where sunlight pours in through wide windows. The living room flows into the dining and kitchen area, creating the perfect setting for gathering over dinner, a glass of wine, or a favorite show on the sofa after a day exploring Atlanta.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and conversation — with pots, pans, cutlery, baking sheets, and pantry basics. A fresh pot of coffee or tea awaits each morning, setting the tone for your adventures ahead.

Slide open the doors to your private backyard patio — a tree-filled oasis ideal for morning yoga, quiet reading, or evening drinks under the stars.

Retreat to one of four thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The main master suite features a king bed with ultra-soft linens, a private deck, and a spa-like bathroom with a standalone tub. A second master offers another king bed with its own half bath and desk space. Additional bedrooms provide both comfort and flexibility, with twin beds and a full bed for families and groups. Each room is appointed with plush bedding, 4K TVs, and workspaces when you need them.

From this central location, you’re minutes from Emory, Agnes Scott College, downtown Decatur’s restaurants and shops, and only 15 minutes to downtown Atlanta landmarks like Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia Aquarium. Midtown and Georgia Tech are just a short drive away, and the airport is 20 minutes from your door.

We recommend renting a car to enjoy the best of the city, though rideshare services are also readily available.

Intown Retreat

Loved the deep soaking tub! Communication and checkout was easy. The home was pristine. It was just what we needed. We only wished there was a keypad for the backdoor to make it easier to exit to to the vehicles.

Beautiful home

This home is exceptional! This was our second stay and like the first time we enjoyed and appreciated the whole experience. The home is well equipped, maintained and nicely appointed. The host is great to work with and they checked in to be sure everything was what we expected. Highly recommend!

We are repeat visitors and will look forward to our next Atlanta visit with family. Perfect location to access many great Atlanta activities. Wonderful master suite with a comfy bed, soaking tub, and high end shower. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities and space for guests. Wonderful family stay

This home looks exactly like the photos and the host was wonderfully responsive to any and all questions. No complaints whatsoever. My extended family stayed here for the weekend (in town for a Tech game/parent weekend) and it was super comfortable for all age groups. The outdoor space was great and the home was very clean. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town!

Wonderful!

Perfect spot for our family reunion. Two roomy masters with comfy beds fit the adult needs and two additional bedrooms good for other family. The master is exquisite with a wonderful deck and view of beautiful back yard. Master bath has a wonderful walk in shower and giant free standing tub. Beautiful kitchen with all you can need. We will be back with enthusiasm next time our paths cross in Atlanta!

Nice house on corner lot with large backyard in quiet neighborhood. House nicely appointed with spacious kitchen, dining area, living room and master bedroom and bath. Master bed and living room sofa very comfortable. Look forward to staying here again.

Family Stay in Decatur

We enjoyed our stay at the house in Decatur. It was large, in good condition, convenient, and met our expectations. We had four adults and two children under five in our party. The house was well equipped and also had nice outdoor space. We had several issues. The garbage bins were almost full from the previous tenants. The front door lock box was finicky and sometimes took several tries to enter or leave. Communication with the host was spotty and unpredictable. Entry directions were never posted on the VRBO site. The cleaning from the previous tenant could have been better - we found sequins through the carpet. In spite of these limitations, we would stay in the house again.

Spacious updated home

Beautifully appointed home continently located in a nice neighborhood. We loved the choice of 2 king bedrooms and the primary was located in the back with a large bath very quiet. I would recommend Michael’s home to anyone looking in the Atlanta/ Decatur area.
