Before we arrived,we tried calling the hotel’s number on numerous occasion,due to the fact we would arrive after the check-in time. We had to call at least 12 times before someone finally picked up the phone. I told them we would be late,and if they could hold the room. The clerk assured me that they would. When we arrived,the key card would not work. They took it,hot som keys on the computer,gave it back. Still didn’t work. When we finally got in,the room was changed from what we booked. We asked why;they didn’t have a good reason. The room also smelled awful. They gave us a different room for the night,smelled a little better. At 10am I went to the front desk and they put us in a much better room (that we originally booked) smelled better,and cleaner. No hair dryer,or ironing board. We also got stuck in their courtyard,by the pool which was not available for use. We had to find a way to escape the courtyard which I won’t explain. The daytime front desk clerk was rude,until I reminded him that We are paying customers. The cleaning and maintenance staff was very polite and professional. I would not stay there again,knowing what I experienced. The first couple days ice machines didn’t work,washing machines were filled with water and smelled very bad;we had to spray air fresheners in the lobby by the washing machines.
