Sunny, spacious, comfortable, super clean and romantic apartment, in the best location, near Acropolis. Close to the historical center of Athens, walking distance to everything you will want to do in Athens, all the major Athenian sights, Acropolis metro station, Acropolis Museum and Plaka. A 54 sq.m tastefully decorated apartment waits to offer you the most easy, relaxing and peaceful holidays in the city center. Keep in mind, we have a 24 hour gap between stay's to offer maximum protection!

My romantic and cozy apartment is on the 3rd floor and it can easily accommodate up to 4 guests. Apart from being romantic and cozy, the apartment, according to my guests, is comfortable, super clean and in walking distance to Acropolis, Plaka, Panathenaic Stadium, the National Garden, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Acropolis Metro Station, the tram station and many other public transportation.

This 54 sq.m. apartment comes with:
- One spacious bedroom with king size bed
- Living room with a big couch-bed
- Dining room for your meals
- A functional kitchen with everything you need

- A big balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast or late drinks

I really enjoy meeting in personal with my guests, to welcome them in Athens and provide them with all the necessary information. However, due to work, sometimes my life partner will wait for you to welcome you in the flat. I am just a call or text away for all my guests, so feel calm that I will be next to you to satisfy your needs. I live at the same apartment upstairs on the 4th floor, so anything you may need I will be at your disposal…

Lage ideal für Athenbesuch

Nur 2 Straßen zu überqueren und man ist an der Metrostadion Akropolis. Wohnung war komplett ausgestattet und super klimatisiert. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben.

Terrible dreadful uncomfortable bed, guaranteed to give one a backache and poor sleep.

This apt. Is uncomfortable. The bed/ Mattres is ancient and even when new of poor and cheap quality,my back aches since staying there. The rest of the apt. Has stuff that doesn’t work,TV,rradio even the wall clock,it is false advertising. Also,the towels are like pumice on the skin so hard and cheap. Never again as it spoiled our first 3 nights in Athens.

This apartment is a short walk to the Akropolis area in a neighborhood that is slightly scruffy. There is a vacant lot down the street and the area has accumulated some cars that don't look like they ever move. The apartment is nice and the owner is very helpful. But to rank as a 3-star place he needs to put a box spring under the mattress, he needs to add a bedside light, so that there are two, and he needs to replace the sofa.

The apartment is really clean and centrally located. The apartment is a little dated and I did not find the bed very comfortable (my partner thought it was fine however)...it is however good value for money and the owner was very kind/enthusiastic with recommendations!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Altbauwohnung in Toplage mit Comfort- und Sauberkeitsabstrichen

Das herausragendste Merkmal der Wohnung ist die Lage. Buchstäbliche 4 Gehminuten zur Plaka, Straßenbahnverbindung nach Piräus (20 Minuten) und zur Einkaufsmeile (5 Minuten), und das alles in einem authentischen Wohnviertel im Zentrum Athens. Die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll im Landhausstil, bis hin zum passenden Service und durchgängig stilvoll passender Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Die Küche ist auch passabel ausgestattet, sehr angenehm der kleine Nespresso-Automat. Der Mini-Herd-Ofen ist mit zwei Kochplatten allerdings eher kümmerlich ausgefallen und es erfordert einige organisatorische Geschicklichkeit, um eine vollständige warme Mahlzeit für 3 Personen darauf zu zubereiten, zumal die Wattleistung der Platten eher gering ist. Für uns bestand das Hauptproblem jedoch in der unsäglichen Qualität des Schlafsofas im Wohnzimmer. Egal, in welcher Position man es versucht, für einen 1,80 Meter großen Menschen ist es nicht möglich, auf diesem ausgebeulten Sofabett so zu schlafen, dass man nicht gerädert wieder aufwacht. Wer nur zu zweit ist, hat das Problem natürlich nicht, an das etwas wackelige und quietschende romantische Bett im Schlafzimmer kann man sich gewöhnen. Der im Schlafzimmerschrank verstaute Staubsauger war uns ein Retter in der Not der ersten Stunde: da die Reinigungskraft unter anderem (!)offenbar vergessen hatte, die Wohnung zu saugen, insbesondere das Badezimmer und das Esszimmer, konnten wir Brotkrümel, Haarspängchen und was der Mensch sonst noch so fallen lässt (in diesem Fall unsere Vorgänger) relativ leicht beseitigen und die Wohnung so reinigen, wie wir es für angenehm befanden. Unser Tipp an den Vermieter: das Sofabett so schnell wie möglich ersetzen und der Reinigungskraft bitte ein wenig deutlichere Anweisungen geben. Was Athen betrifft: eine faszinierende Stadt! Wir waren eine Woche dort und wir wollen noch mehr Athen erleben!

Spacious place off the beaten path. We only stayed here one day but everything we needed was close by... the acropolis, plaka, nice places to eat. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would stay here again. My only complaint was that the mattress was too hard but we stayed in 3 places in Greece and all 3 mattresses were hard. I guess I'm just a spoiled American 😕

Lovely place, so close to the city center!

This place is great! It is only a few blocks away from the Acropolis metro station and the Acropolis itself. Very clean, with a very cozy bedroom. My wife and I had a great time in Athens and, since it was very hot during our stay, the air conditioned saved our lives! Pantelis is also very attentive and kind. Highly recommended place to stay in Athens!

Convenient and value for the money!

Pantelis place is what I would call “home, sweet, home” - with little touches of vintage bric-a-brac that reminds you Grandma’s comfortable cottage. It’s spacious with some conveniences like air conditioning (much appreciated after a day trek in hot Athens!), stove top, a few dinnerware, cutlery, cookware and Dolce Gusto Nescafe coffee maker in the kitchen. It’s only a few minutes walk to the new Acropolis museum, and the balcony has a view of the Acropolis itself. Tram stop just a few paces away but you can pretty much reach on foot the usual Athens sites of Plaka, Monastiraki, and Syntagma Square and the famous ruins of Hadrian’s arch, temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Panathenaic Stadium where the modern Olympics took place. I did not get to meet Pantelis but he was responsive throughout the booking process, and during my family’s stay in his 3rd floor apartment (4th in American-speak :-)). Don’t worry - there is an elevator, cozy but useful. His associate and recommended transfer and tour service, George, was very helpful and took care of our arrival and departure - past midnight and early morning, respectively - which took away our worries and made us feel at ease. Would recommend this Vourvachi apartment to anyone looking for a convenient and reasonably priced accommodation in Athens. Efharisto, Pantelis!

Acropolis area

Wonderful place to stay. The proprietor, Pantelis, is a most gracious host. The room is spacious, and has a separate dining and living room area, a small kitchenette, and a pleasant balcony. It’s located only a few minutes from the T4 and T5 tram lines and an easy 10 minute walk to the Akropoli Metro station. Clearly one of the best bargains on Expedia for Athens.

Appartement conforme aux photos et très calme . sejour agréable en famille . Tout le nécessaire est la . Nous n'avons pas rencontrer le propriétaire mais sa maman mais nous avions des nouvelles de propriétaire si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit . Juste un point quand nous sommes arrivee la cuvette des toilettes était casser à un endroit. Nous recommandons cette location pour le confort et sa proximité de l'acropole, du métro et du nécessaire . Merci

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pantelis place! Great location, 10 minute walk to Parthenon and all major historical sites. Awesome deck, spacious bedroom and living room. And Pantelis was very helpful and accommodating. He made some great recommendations of restaurants nearby! Will definitely be back next time we're in Athens!

A fine apartment--only a tiny bit off the beaten path

We stayed in the apartment for six nights before joining a tour that headed out into the Aegean. My wife is slow to adjust to time differences. She slept a lot. I enjoyed the city. We were very pleased with the apartment. It was quite comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially appreciated the Dulce Gusto coffee maker (if you are morally opposed to capsule coffee, there is a French press). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, which has a concentration of motorcycle repair shops. There was some street noise at night (unrelated to the shops) but nothing unusual for an urban setting. Though the apartment is not located in the middle of the tourist area, I easily walked to all the main sights and historic neighborhoods (the Archaeological Museum is a metro ride). There are some fine restaurants within a reasonable walk (ManiMani and Namaste, for example) My wife is not much of a walker. The tram is convenient for getting to Syntagma Square and the metro system. We returned to the apartment by taxi (reasonably priced, by the way) several times, but don't expect to find one on the street in front of the apartment. This was our first visit to Athens. I would like to return and would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

Pantalis was very prompt with his response and handeling any problems. Very close to restaurants, Acropolis and hop on hop off bus. Nice balcony , but don't expect an overlook of the acropolis. We would stay again if we would be back in Athens, very safe area.

Ideal for a short break

A great apartment that has everything required for 2 people and is a max. of 20 mins walk from all the sights and city centre. The only comment would be that the mattress is very hard, but not too hard to sleep on! The owner, Pantellis, is very friendly and happy to offer assistance and recommendations. We used a number of his restaurant and bar recommends and all were excellent.

Perfect Appartment

This appartment has everything you need. It is spacious, has a big balcony and a nice interior. In 10 minutes you walk to the Acropolis Museum and in 15 minutes you can start shopping in the Plaka. Great Place.

Five Night Stay in Athens

My wife and I stayed in Pantelis’s apartment for five nights on a trip to Athens and the surrounding areas. This was a very charming, pleasant and cozy place to stay. The apartment was clean and had all required amenities. The location is fantastic: easy to get to from the airport by Taxi, and in the heart of Athens. We could walk to all the major historic sites and districts (Acropolis and surroundings, Plaka area, Syngtma square, Monastiraki) comfortably and experience Athens up close. There are many nice neighborhood restaurants and bars. Over our five days, we made a one- day trip to Delphi and a one-day 3-island tour. It was easy to get to the departure points for these tours from the apartment and very refreshing to return to the apartment after exploring Delphi and the Islands. Public transport (Metro, bus, tram) is less than a 5 minute walk. There is a nice view of the Acropolis from the balcony. Pantelis was very helpful and was ready to greet us upon arrival and made us feel at home. He gave us a lot of useful suggestions to explore Athens. There was a small problem with the shower once and Pantelis took care of it right away. Would stay again and will highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens. Thanks Pantelis.

Wonderful apartment in a great location.

We were quite impressed with this apartment. Of course it was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning that would chill a polar bear. The bathroom was quite large and looks to have been recently updated, with everything clean and newer. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware. One thing we really enjoyed was having a balcony with an awning, and a view of the Acropolis, which looks amazing at night. The apartment is not what I would call huge, but it really did not feel crowded at all, even with the couch converted to a bed for our kids to sleep on. The bed was super comfy, and there was plenty of cabinets in the bedroom to hang clothes. It was very easy to feel at home, and we got a kick out of how many food delivery scooters raced down the street every evening. There is a bus stop right around the corner, a tram stop is just a couple minute walk away, and a metro stop just a few minutes past that, so there is easy access to Syntagma to get wherever you need to go. Even Plaka is not that far of a walk. Overall, this was a really great place to stay. We were able to meet the owner, and he is very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave excellent directions and suggestions before our stay, and was every bit as helpful when we met.

Les +: -accueil charmant -propriétaire très disponible et qui conseille -jolie décoration, soignée -clim dans le séjour et la chambre -bien équipé -grand lit -bien situé, proche de l'Acropole, de l'agora, de plaka... -terrasse (nous n'en avons pas profite à cause de la chaleur!) Les -: -lit qui grince -appart un peu vieillot -un peu plus de vaisselle serait bien Un bon séjour pour nous! Merci à notre charmant hôte!
