Modern - Vintage apartment by Acropolis museum - Mitseon 2os

Este es un impresionante apartamento de 125 metros cuadrados. Su decoración es moderna, construida en torno a algunos muebles antiguos Art Deco de los años 30. Se encuentra justo en la entrada trasera del Museo de la Acrópolis, a menos de 100 metros de la calle Dionysiou Areopagitou y de la estación de metro Acropolis.
El apartamento está en el segundo piso de un edificio típico de Atenas y puede alojar hasta 8 personas. Tiene tres habitaciones: La habitación verde con una cama doble y un baño privado. La habitación púrpura con dos camas individuales que pueden convertirse fácilmente en una segunda cama doble. La habitación azul con una cama individual que esconde otra cama individual con colchón de calidad. En la sala de estar, hay un sofá con una cama plegable que puede alojar a dos personas.
El apartamento tiene 2 baños y una cocina totalmente equipada. Disfrutará tomando su café de cortesía durante su estadía.
Desde el espacioso salón, desde el comedor y desde la sala Verde, puede acceder al balcón frontal (este) con vista al museo de la Acrópolis y una vista parcial de la roca de la Acrópolis. Hay un balcón más en el otro lado del apartamento, frente a la habitación Azul y la habitación Púrpura (oeste), frente a los patios de las típicas casas antiguas atenienses.
También puede solicitar el acceso a nuestro jardín en la azotea (de 6:00 pm a 8:00 pm) con una gran vista de la Acrópolis y la ciudad de Atenas. Allá arriba puedes tomarte un café o una copa de vino bajo el cielo de Atenas, disfrutando de la espectacular vista de la Acrópolis.Sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que le solicitamos amablemente que obedezca estrictamente las horas de siesta tranquilas y las reglas para mantener el área del techo limpia y adecuada.
El apartamento tiene una conexión Wi-Fi rápida, un televisor LED 32HD con un navegador web y unidades de aire acondicionado en cada habitación.
Por supuesto, las camas ya están confeccionadas, con sábanas recién planchadas de la marca Coco-Mat de alta calidad. Además, hay toallas limpias para cada uno de ustedes.
Solo se permite fumar en el balcón.

You will not be disappointed

We had 2 days in Athens before our cruise. The apartment is conveniently located near the Acropolis Museum. The apartment was clean and had a great floor plan with all the amenities. The host arranged transfers from airport and to cruise terminal, which was wonderful. The only hiccup was the VRBO listing said the deposit was due at arrival While at the airport I received message stating that the arrival instructions would not be provided until i paid the deposit through a link that i did not receive and a company we had never heard of. received or heard of. deposionhicvup Vz

Almost perfect

This property is well set-up with everything needed, and the location could not be better. It is spacious with a charming balcony. Please note that that there are steps to climb before you get to the elevator. I submitted some problems to be fixed to the property manager, and if he fixes them, I could give this property a 5-star review.

Nice place that could use a little care

Great location, 5 minute walk to the metro and the Acropolis. Stores and restaurants are nearby although it's not a popular going-out destination area. Management company was responsive. It is a high quality apartment with nice wood floors, suberb shades on the windows, some good pots, and an elevator in the building. But I almost gave it 4 stars because it could use some care:1) the doors creak loudly - a little grease for the hinges would take only 5 minutes to apply 2) two of the beds (the twin bed with trundle) had no mattress pads on the bed under the sheets. This is unsanitary. I put some old small extra comforters under the sheets; even when I asked for mattress pads they didn't come (they did bring new sheets and towels though).3) The trundle bed in the single twin bedroom has a bend in the frame which means the mattress is quite slanted.4) There were barely enough covers. The bed covers were nice but not that thick, and they needed some nice extra ones.5) The living room has doors that enclose it which was great, but the one couch in there is the size of a twin bed with a trundle smaller than a twin. The trundle pops up to connect with the couch part. The listing says "2 double sofa beds" which is totally false. 1 sofa bed only. There were no sheets provided for this sofa bed.6) 4 for cleanliness b/c the floors were dusty7) dishwasher doesn't work; there are no kitchen towels or hot pads.8) The towels are very thin; they provided only 1 per person for 8 days.

Location is amazing. Apartment was super charming and exactly what we wanted. Coffee, bakery, grocery, UNESCO world heritage site all in the neighborhood. Couldn’t have been better!

Athens getaway

A fabulous 6 nights in Athens and the location of our apartment was outstanding. It was a great size for us 4 single ladies with plenty of room for more. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the rooftop balcony however having access to the balcony without having to book would have been preferred. The communication was excellent from start to finish.

Apartment in best location in the city !

This apartment is a located by the Acropolis, restaurants, marketplace, stores and metro station. You couldn’t ask for a better location to explore Athens. The apartment has air conditioning in every room. It is in a quiet neighborhood so very little outside noise. The apartment is very nicely decorated and very clean. We would stay here again.

Great Location near Acropolis Museum

The arrival and checkin went okay. The location is just minutes from the Acropolis Museum and entrance area to the Acropolis and the Metro station. There are a ton of restaurants near the Acropolis Museum but I recommend venturing a little further away to get better prices and better food. The apartment was not cleaned as thoroughly as we would have expected if a guest was coming to my home but was acceptable. The dishwasher control panel was missing so it didn’t work. There’s an upstairs terrace for viewing the Acropolis but it was locked except for a short time from 6-8pm so we didn’t get to check it out. The beds in Greece are extremely firm. This was true of another location we were at earlier in the month. It claims four bedrooms but it’s three bedrooms with sleeper sofa in the living room. Overall, it worked for our needs and I’d stay there again.

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment for a family of 6. The apartment is conveniently located at the central of all attractions and there are many restaurants near by. George and his team are super responsive and helped arranging rides from airport to the apartment. The apartment is also spacious and clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. Elevator was a great plus for getting luggage up the stair. We had a great time. Thank you for hosting us!

Perfect location and comfortable airy apartment

We were fortunate to find this lovely apartment, walking distance to all the ancient sites in Athens that we wanted to see, including the Acropolis and Hadrian's library, plus surrounded by great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful, organizing rides and helping stow our luggage when we arrived a bit early in the day. All five of us were very comfortable! We had a terrific stay and loved exploring the Plaka neighborhood from this perfect location. Highly recommended!

Perfect Acropolis Location

This rental could not have been more conveniently located! It was so close to the Acropolis and museum, great restaurants, grocery, etc. It was also very walkable to other major sites in Athens. The hosts had great communication and was very accommodating in helping with our luggage before check in and after check out. I will warn there is absolutely zero parking anywhere nearby - so not the place to stay with a vehicle. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and we loved that we could catch up on some laundry while there, too! Thank you!

Great Location and View from Roof Terrace

Nice apartment and George at Meno was helpful with arranging transfers. The only issues we had were that there was no dish soap or way to wash the dishes. An almost empty roll of paper towels was not helpful. Overall, the apartment was clean and the location was ideal.

Honestly couldn't get a better location it was definitely nice having A/C Washer was nice as is typical in Europe there was no dryer. water heater needed to be turned on a few minutes before showering so planning was necessary but not a big deal

Responsive hosts, great location

This apartment closely matches the description on the website and is in a great location in Plaka for touring the historical sites. It is in an older building, which does have a few quirks. The hosts were responsive and proactive about making sure we had everything we needed, and the place was very clean. The mattresses are very firm, so if you are accustomed to memory foam, this may not be a good place for you.

Charming 3 Bedroom Apartment

Overall, our stay was very good. The location was excellent. We walked everywhere. Food shopping was 2 blocks away. It was a great family vacation. We had breakfasts together in the apartment every day and even dinner on the roof one night. One thing to be aware of, the description states that there is a view of the museum and Acropolis rock from the apartment. That may be true in winter, but all we could see is foliage. The lovely view in all the photos is from the roof and that was a great benefit to have.
