Kick Back Cabin - The Original - Hot Tub and Walking Trails

Tucked back in the woods, at the edge of 23 acres of a roughly 150 yr. old farm, this spacious, Amish built cabin built in 2006, is the ideal place to kick back and relax with friends or just your better half. Kick Back Cabin was originally the previous owner's art studio. With walking trails on the property that lead to a small creek and a seasonal pond, the scenery is sure to inspire.

This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

Nick and Shannon were great! Our girlies had the best time at their cabin, in the hot tub, and access to everything was easy. Definitely would recommend for a little getaway.

We loved our stay at the Kickback cabin! The trails on the property and fenced in deck were so great for our dog, and we loved the screened in porch during a thunderstorm! Would definitely stay here again.

Was excited,we travel with our 2 dogs: and door was NOT locked when we arrived, just pushed it open,finally got it to lock, needs a new one(saw this in a review and thought it would of been fixed) You can see light through deadbolt in door to fenced area, needs replaced. You could slide it left to right.”, we didn’t feel secure. No curtains on 2 of the 3 doors?? The 3rd door had a PAPER like cover with tears. Again, security issue. Out to the fenced area the second stair down bends and moves when you go down,was unstable. Our dog got hung up in briars, they were on inside of fence and we had to pick up tons of sticks(big ones) because afraid we would tripor dogs get hurt.It rained and back steps major slick. If our dog put paws on the fence it would have fell over. SO UNSTABLE and you could push the whole fence down if you wanted to on 2 of the 4 sides. We were going to grill and the top lid was broken so we didn’t use it. Just 1 tv and very small. Our dog lost a chew toy we looked under the couch/bed and it was disgusting,we lifted the couch cushions and there was hair and a PILE of some kind of food(we didn’t touch it) so that tells us they didn’t change the cover on the couch or clean under the cushions Upsetting when you pay a cleaning fee and see this. If these things were fixed it would be UNBELIEVABLE. Have photos of all. Has good things but wouldn’t stay till above repaired. Good:Trails,location,dog friendly,remote,nice inside

Nick and Shannon’s cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. I still can’t believe that this is a dog friendly place. It smelled and looked clean. The bed was so comfortable too! We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and lounging around inside.

It was amazing. Eveything was better than they described. The bed was so comfortable. The hot tub before each night gave us the best sleep. But the thing that made it extra special was the hand written personal note that was left on the table that will make it in our scrapbook was the chefs kiss. Also internet was not amazing but adequate to snuggle up and watch movies with.

Loved staying at this cabin in the woods. Very private, quiet and relaxing. Despite all the attractions in Hocking Hills we spent a lot of time just hanging out with our 2 dogs. Nice trails right out the door. Would love to go back! Kick Back cabin is a very appropriate name.

Kick Back Cabin was in a great location in the woods, private & had lots of great amenities including being pet friendly. It was very clean & the hot tub was crystal clear & clean. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights as well. The only downside was the couch wasn't very comfortable & the decor could use a few updates. The door handle to the front door should also be replaced.I would definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you have a dog! Fenced in area & fenced in deck area - both w/ doggy doors!

The cabin was very inviting and warm and also private. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and there is firewood on the property to purchase. The hot tub was relaxing. We would like to stay again sometime! Bring your own coffee and matches :)
