    ¿Alguna vez has querido dormir a la sombra de la poderosa Acrópolis? Esta es tu oportunidad! Le ofrecemos una espléndida casa familiar de 200 años construida al pie de la roca misma. De hecho, parte de las antiguas murallas de la ciudad pasan directamente a través de la casa. Ubicado en las profundidades de Plaka, esta es realmente una propiedad única para aquellos que desean pasar su tiempo en los barrios atenienses más encantadores.

    La casa está construida en 2 niveles, con una gran cocina hogareña y 3 dormitorios en la planta baja, mientras que arriba está la sala de estar grande y cómoda, una sala de televisión / estudio y el dormitorio principal. Una puerta desde el salón conduce a una escalera de metal exterior que lo lleva a la terraza de la azotea que tiene vistas incomparables de Atenas, incluido Lycabettus y el estadio olímpico de Kallimarmaro. Amazing rental in the heart of everything. Really loved staying in a piece of history. We enjoyed dining out and dining in the villa with a special made meal that was offered by the host. Sitting in the courtyard with my coffee in the morning was so peaceful. Truly a special and magical stay. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, I would reconsider this stay as it has many stairs.

The house is in a great location in Plaka. Two minute walk to the entrance to the Acropolis. The property was very nice and the house has a/c. I highly recommend it.

The host gave us a wonderful tour of the home, which looks directly up at the Greek flag on the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. Great location. Comfortable home filled with lovely things.

Downtown Athens under Acropolis

My family had a wonderful stay. The property was exactly as shown. It was within short walking distance to all historic sites in downtown Athens, and the hosts were attentive to our needs. I would love to stay again if I ever return to Athens.

Dream spot

We were super impressed with this property. Incredible location with shopping and restaurants near by. The property had good air conditioning in the bed rooms (living rooms could get hot upstairs). Property managers were easy to work with and the pictures do not do it justice, very quaint.

Ioustinos was a fantastic host. He had tons of great advice on our stay from tours to food and getting around. The Villa is a history lesson in itself with its colorful past. It is in a perfect location for walking to the Acropolis, museums and many of the monuments in Athens. The Plaka neighborhood is vibrant and everyone was super friendly. We wished we had stayed longer. We would definitely like to come back.

Historical site, beautiful house, perfect location and a wonderful host! We were met on arrival for the keys and tour of the home and its history. Fascinating!!! The host even came with fresh fruit, yogurt, wine and water. Will absolutely be back! Thank you for your beautiful home and wish we were there longer. Photo is the view of The Acropolis from the driveway!

A gem!

This is a gem! It’s a historic villa literally under the Acropolis and in the middle of the Plaka district but not noisy. It’s a real home filled with wonderful atmosphere and with patios and a rooftop looking up at the Parthenon. Unique Athenian experience!

Amazing Villa in the Heart of Plaka!

This home is incredible. It is a small Grecian villa in the middle of town. Views of the Acropolis, right in the middle of the historical Anafiotika, walking to amazing shopping and restaurants. And, yes, the Acropolis is right across the street with views from the courtyard. Inside, four bedrooms, spacious kitchen, charming second story living room. House is full of memories and amazing artwork. This family cares about their home and are generous to share it with others.

Great location, great home!

My second stay here. Beautiful, well maintained home, with as centralized location in the Plaka as possible. The home is absolutely authentic, from the floors to the furniture. And the outdoor terrace - never had a better one. The restaurants and shops are right outside the door - yet the house is quiet. One word, there are small staircases and step ups and downs between some rooms and bathrooms - as well as stairs and steps to the front door. So those with significant mobility issue might need to reconsider. But an awesome spot.

Amazing time in Plaka

Words cannot describe this house or location. We couldn’t believe when we entered the courtyard…. So private and beautifu. Loustino was great with communication and the check in process was easy! He also arranged for us to have a private chef, Karolos, one evening and it was the highlight of our trip. The food was delicious! The location cannot be beat. Literally steps away from the acropolis and in the heart of Plaka. Great restaurants right outside the house. Can’t wait to return and when we do we will only stay at this incredible location!

Great location, right at the footstep of Acropolis, few steps to Plaka for coffeeand restaurants. The house is amazing, like living in a piece of history, in an antique that is very well maintained with all amenities working perfect. Kitchen annd bathrooms fully equipped and clean. AC and fans keep the house cool. Every item in this house is picture worthy. The patio with beautiful plants and shade are amazing to spend time as well as the Terrace that looks at acropolis. I wish I had stayed longer and I will be definitely back to stay here again. The host Ioustinos was extremely helpful with every step of our Adventure too.

Amazing location and historic building.

Things we loved: -great communication with Nikolas. He helped us arrange airport transfer and made check in and check out easy -courtyard is unique and special. Have dinner outside and/or folks over for drinks! -location is minutes walking distance from taverna and shopping -a/c worked great in the Athens July heat. Be aware: - if travelling with folks who are elderly or who have a physical impairment, 3 out of the 4 bedrooms may not be accessible due to steep narrow stairs, a loft bed, narrow hallway or a combination of the above.

A Peaceful Paradise in the Plaka

This 300 year old family home is lovingly restored. The treasures of Athenian history adorn its walls and floors. Its gardens, trees and courtyards make you believe you are in a village far from a bustling metropolis. We were rejuvenated by the rest we found there, excellent air conditioning, showers, and a wonderful kitchen where the five of us cooked a feast together. Ioustinos, the family contact, welcomed us and gave us helpful advice. His tour and gift of wine were unexpected and much appreciated. There was a parking place for our car. It was a perfect oasis for us after hiking on Parnassos and ending our 2 week holiday.

Fantastic Location, Great Property

Can't find a better location in Athens. The house was in the middle of everything - sightseeing, great restaurants and the center of town. Old, classic Greek house. Full of charm. The house is just quirky enough to grab your full attention. And the garden - awesome! One small caution - the house has some internal step ups and step downs. Nothing too drastic. But people with mobility issues should review more closely. But and awesome stay!

Athens Perfection. The coolest house ever

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Athens. This is one of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed in. I would've loved to hear or read more of the history of the house. It seemed like it has a interesting story of its own! The house is fantastic (hidden stairs! ruins from the Acropolis! lots of outdoor space! super comfortable beds!). The location is ideal (LOVED the area and it was close to everything we wanted to see). And the owners/property managers were wonderful (we were greeted with fresh fruit and warm bread and a tour of the house). I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Athens. From booking to check out, this exceeded our expectations.

Perfect Location in the Place

We loved this charming house centrally located in the Plaza. Within walking distance of the Acropolis, shopping, and restaurants. The home has all the amenities, the outdoor areas and terraces were perfect for morning coffee and relaxing in the evenings. We liked the historic importance of the home and old world charm. The hosts are terrific and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Steps from all the major tourist sites!

Charming home under the Acropolis, we loved the outdoor space and staying in the Plaka neighborhood. We enjoyed strolling the old town streets and sampling the local food offerings. Hosts were very attentive and helpful to us! I would love to visit again one day.
