Tucked into the second floor of a characterful building on Makrigianni Street — one of the most storied addresses in the city — this apartment is a place to arrive and immediately feel at ease. The neighbourhood moves at a human pace. There are bakeries, tavernas, and the kind of streets that reward slow walking.

Step outside and you are a breath away from the Acropolis Museum and the Metro. Step onto the rooftop terrace and the Acropolis itself is almost close enough to touch — best with a morning coffee, or a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Plaka, Monastiraki, and Syntagma are all a short, pleasant walk away. Everything you came to Athens for is right here.

The apartment was in a great location. We had a tour scheduled at the acropolis which was right across the street. Also, the apartment is located on a street with tons of restaurants to choose from. The beds were very comfortable.

This is the perfect spot to stay and appreciate the core of Athens. The host is extremely hospitable and very helpful in getting to and from the location. And once there, everything is immediately at hand, from the view of the acropolis to walking the streets and finding cafés and beautiful rooftop restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Athens because of this location and our host. It could not have been better.

Apartment Near Acropolis

Property is across from the Acropolis Museum. Nice apartment and great view of the Parthenon from the roof. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Great place to stay to enjoy Athens.
