All the information to get into the apartment and the information about the area in the apartment were absolutely brilliant. The area around was very good, restaurants and bars were cheaper in this area than others. Very safe at night time. The apartment was spotless and very well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Athens.

This is a great place to stay for exploring Athens. It is only a few minutes walk from the Acropolis but still in a quiet area near some excellent local restaurants. George, our driver from the airport, gave us an excellent introduction to the apartment.We particularly appreciated the efficient washing machine!

It is in a great location, and the team managing the property are really interested in making you welcome and your stay enjoyable. We loved the commentary from and to the airport and the introduction to the property and the neighbourhood.If you do not like elevators be careful. This property is on the fourth floor and the elevator is the logical way to get your luggage to the accomodation.It was really quiet at night, all main rooms are air conditioned. I would stay here again, especially to hear George’s commentary again :).For my daughter and I it was a really good place to stay.

Comfortable apartment in great location

A roomy apartment in a great location - everything is an easy walk from here, especially the Acropolis, which is just a few minutes away. Helena and Bill are wonderful hosts, great communicators, they made everything easy. The building is safe and quiet. The outside deck is huge, though not particularly well equipped, unfortunately - no awning covering it and no umbrella for the patio table, which would have been a huge problem had we been there at a hotter time of year. (Perhaps this will be fixed before summer arrives.) The apartment itself is comfortable, though fairly simply furnished. Note that the kitchen lacks a microwave, which would make a useful addition in the future. Overall, a pleasant stay and great value. Thanks again for your hospitality, Helena and Bill!

Absolutely perfect

From the beginning to end, our stay in Greece was perfection. Helena was an exceptional host and Chryssa was the sweetest. They were helpful, warm, and easy to communicate with. The location of this apartment was centrally locating with plenty to do, see, and eat near by. I will surely book again with Helena when I return to Greece.

Walking distance to everything

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Helene organized a driver to pick us up at the airport. Chrissa was so much fun. She took care of us from start to finnish. Communication with Helene was top notch and her response time was excellent. The apartment was well maintained and perfect for our visit to Athens. So close to everything with little shops, restaurants and markets nearby.

Weekend in Athens - July 2024

Our family loved staying in the apartment during our visit. Located in a great location, few minutes walk to major locations including Plaka and Acropolis. The property manager, Helena, was great in giving us lots of useful information and helping us arrange airport/city transfers as well as a tour to Cape Sounion. Highly recommend this property!

Good location for a week in Athens

Check in was efficient. Good communication with the host. Although they were not able to coordinate an airport transfer, the taxi is a flat rate to the city. Host met us at the door to provide keys and give us a quick overview. The small elevator was convenient for the 4th floor apartment. Even in the photos, you can see some changes in decorations and fixtures. The patio (uncovered) was indispensable both for relaxing with a morning coffee or an evening beverage, and was also great for drying clothes in the heat of midday on the provided drying rack. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was excellent (although the small shower would benefit from a tray to hold soap/shampoo). Kitchen was sufficiently stocked, although we didn’t much make use of it other than coffee and dishes for pastries. Instructions for the washer would have been nice. I had to Google the model to find an instruction manual. Location of the apartment was nice, a short walk to the Acropolis Museum. We did find ourselves walking the same route every day to visit other historical sites. It may be more convenient to stay above the Placa to be more central. But there’s a great pedestrian street a few blocks West that has a wide variety of dining options. We found a small market for groceries, but would have appreciated knowing the My Market was just another block away! Hosts should add information to the guest book. My only real complaint was lousy WiFi. Only 5MB/s! Tough to get work done or to stream.

Wonderful comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood!

The apartment was comfortable, clean, and very nice. Balcony is HUGE! Walkable to all kinds of restaurants and tourist sites. I’d definitely take advantage of the offer for transportation. Chyrissa drove us from and back to the airport. She was incredible! Felt like getting picked up by an old friend.

Fantastic Apartment in the heart of Athens!

Not only was this apartment very comfortable, the host and George, the driver she arranged, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were so supportive and helpful when we encountered a few travel hiccups.The location was very walkable to great restaurants, shops, and the Acropolis. The apartment was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet which I really appreciate being able to be in the middle of it all but still being able to sleep at night. The beds were very comfortable. A/C in every room. We felt very safe. I would stay here again easily. Thank you very much, Helena and George. You are a treasures.

Looking forward to go back

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this amazing location in Athens. we were welcomed at the airport by a great lady-Nikki-. She introduced us to the appartment and to Athens. we were lucky that the owners-Helena & Vassili- let us check in early. we couldn't have hoped for a better place! we were 5 min from a pedestrian st with restaurants,stores and the subway; just one station away from the Accropolis-. though we walked to that area many times. There are a few little supermarkets within few minutes; and bakeries too! there's even a farmers market within 10 min. and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare quick meals when we didn't want to eat out. The shower had good pressure and mattresses were comfortable. May be I shouldn't rave so much about that place because I'd like it to be available when we can go back. Thank you for an awsome place to visit Athens from! Cliff & Bea from Florida

Location, location, location!!

We chose to use the private transfer and George was fantastic! He took us right to the apartment, showed us around the apartment and gave us the keys, This was good because our flight got us in late. Very easy check-in process. We were close to everything and we walked everywhere. No need for taxis. We are walkers so that was perfect for us. It has a nice large patio, table and chairs. Apartment washing machine worked well with the pods we brought and they have a clothesline out on the patio as well as a portable drying rack. At the moment there is some construction going on in the next building, but we wouldn’t trade this location for more quiet. The construction will eventually end. We enjoyed our stay, it worked very well for us! Thanks Helena and George!

Vacances inoubliables!!

L’appartement était top! Parfaitement situé, nous avons pu faire plein de visites à pied. Georges qui est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport était charmant, il nous a fait visiter le quartier et nous a été indiqué les restos sympas. L’appartement était nickel, et la terrasse très agréable. Je recommande a 200%!!

Friends getaway

My friend and I loved the location. So central to everything and the metro just 100 metres away. The apartment had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. The outdoor deck is huge. Chrissa and George did our airport and Parieus port transfers very professionally and we didn't have to worry about anything. Our only issue was the construction work only 2 doors away, which would have been ok but, they used a jackhammer from 7:30am until after 3pm. Otherwise, perfect 😍

Wonderful location!

The apartment was in a great location. Close to tons of restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, and a quick walk to the metro and tram stops. Clean and fully functional apartment, if you choose to cook or wash laundry. The two bedrooms were a decent size, and the bathroom was bigger than a lot of places I've stayed in Europe. It's on the 5th floor, but there is a small elevator which is nice. Huge balcony was a bonus. Safe location. I was with my two nieces who are 19 and 22, and we never felt nervous or uncomfortable at any time. Not even when walking back from dinner and night photos of the Acropolis (which is about a 10 minute walk) around midnight. Most people don't eat until around 10pm, so there were always people around. Helena was very good with communicating, and I recommend taking her up on arranging for a driver from the airport. I highly recommend this location if you plan on visiting Athens. :)

Best location in town

The apartment was lovely. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The shower was hot. The terrace was nice. Air conditioning was welcomed after a day of trekking around town. The mattresses were a bit beyond their expiration date. There was a problem with the TV remote. But who watches TV in the 2,500 year old city? Another plus was airport pickup and transport. Very smooth transition into Greece.
