  • We welcome you to The Hayloft: sleeps 8 (max 4 adults) in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), open plan kitchen/diner/sitting area, large balcony with wonderful views, meadow gardens and hot tub. The Hayloft is a peaceful haven for those wishing to enjoy the countryside with easy access to the coast. The Hayloft is not a party house.

    Entrance Hall with cloak hanging and further built in cupboard.

    Master Bedroom (sleeps 2) king size bed, 6 metre wide triple sliding doors lead to large patio and gardens beyond. En-suite shower room with double sink and WC, wonderful freestanding bath in the bedroom. Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine.
    Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2) king size bed, sliding doors to side patio area, Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine (Vertuo pods).
    Bedroom 3 (sleeps 4, children only and not suitable for adults) with two sets of full size bunk beds and tilt and turn door leading to side patio.
    Family Bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
    Small utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

    Well-equipped kitchen with quartz worktops and upstands, range cooker, wine fridge, Quooker hot water tap, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (larger sized Vertuo capsules) and microwave. Wide bifold doors lead to upper decked area.

    Comfortable seating area for 8 with woodburning stove.

    Outside
    The Hayloft is fully fenced and gated along with outside lighting, a paved terrace with ample seating and sun loungers. Easy steps up to the hot tub and large meadow garden with rolling farmland beyond.
    The large upper decked area is southwest facing to take full advantage of stunning views and sunsets. Here will be found cosy sofas and bench seats, dining table and chairs along with a gas BBQ and sun parasols.
    Parking for 2/3 cars.
    There is a gated path from the front of the house leading to the rear patio area and to the hot tub, and gardens beyond.
    Outside stairway leading to the upper decked area from the ground floor.
    EV Charger available - charges of £5 per night apply. If you wish to use please add to your booking, or let us know at least 7 days prior to arrival.
    Extra guests are not permitted over and above the maximum occupancy stated. If guests wish to invite daily visitors this may only be done by prior arrangement.
    No stag groups, hen parties or groups of adults under 30.

Extremely well appointed and beautifully decorated accommodation

We stayed for a few days in the Hayloft and would highly recommend. The decor is tasteful throughout and the master bedroom has a thoroughly relaxing feel. All beds are very comfortable. It proved to be the perfect place for my wife and I to relax for a few days with our children (toddler and baby). We didn’t need to call on our hosts to help with anything but I’m certain they would had been available and quick to help with anything. Spending time in the hot tub in what feels like your private patch of countryside was a highlight.

Beautiful house and views

We had a really great stay at The Hayloft, unbelievable value for money! The views were great and we had such a peaceful time away. The house has a nice layout with the living space upstairs, making the most of the views. The property is also in easy reach of some great days out in Kent. We are very picky with where we stay and we would highly recommend The Hayloft!

Spectacular house and location, a dreamy stay

We had the most perfect stay at the Hayloft and couldn’t have been happier with the house, facilities, location, and welcome from the hosts! The interior is stunning - beautifully decorated, luxurious and comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed too with hot tub towels, cool bags for picnics, charger cables, robes - the owners have really thought of everything you could need. We had amazing weather, and the views from the Hayloft are spectacular. The hot tub is wonderful, there’s a lovely balcony for eating outside, a beautiful open plan kitchen and lounge. It honestly couldn’t have been better for us. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and other treats, and when the owners found out we were staying over our wedding weekend, we came home from the day to a bottle of ice cold bubbly. I couldn’t recommend the Hayloft highly enough - thank you so much!

We loved the Hayloft!

We loved the Hayloft! It's in such a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by rolling hills and lovely countryside. The house is incredibly comfortable and cosy and well- equipped. We especially loved sitting in front of the fire on the big sofas and looking out at the view. We for some lovely starry nights, too, which were great from the vantage of the wonderful hot tub. We will be back!

Not sure what the difference is from the question above. The TVs in all rooms were too big especially in the lounge and too high. It could have been put on a different wall with a swing out TV.

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful house to celebrate two of us turning 40. The house is in a gorgeous location and the house is out of this world with so many lovely finishing touches that made our stay that extra bit special. You really couldn't ask for anything more. Fantastic property in a beautiful location

We spent a fantastic few days here with friends. The property is really well considered and beautifully done up. It's set in stunning surroundings and the house has been designed to make the most of the view. It had everything we needed and more for a brilliant holiday. The owners live in the house next door and couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. They accommodated every request we had and were all round fantastic hosts. All in all a big thumbs up from us.

Idyllic holiday rental

The Hayloft was absolutely gorgeous with everything to the highest standard. Superb property with everything you could wish for and a lovely host. Beautiful location and views. Not sure where else you could relax in the hot tub as the sun sets while watching a crane fish in the small lake. Weather was unfortunately wet and windy a lot of our stay so didn't get to make use of the balcony. Hope for better weather next time we visit (which we definitely will) so we can enjoy more time on the balcony, in the hot tub and walking in the surrounding area.

First Guests At The Hayloft!!!

Pictures never do the place justice. This is a fantastic place to go to with family, we had a really wonderful time. Being in a hot tub on top of a hill with the views is just incredible. The house has everything you would normally need in a home and the owners have thought of absolutely everything. Richard and Sheba are fantastic and really lovely. We will definitely be going back there later in the summer!
