Welcome to our centrally-located & spacious apartment. Take a 10min walk up to Haywood Rd for brunch & breweries. 10min drive downtown or Biltmore.

Sleep in the plush bed. Wake up to a delicious cup of coffee. Swing in the hammock chairs on our restful porch.

Pull out couch for friends & family. Full bathroom with tub. Partial kitchen with dishes small fridge/freezer, toaster, air fryer, kettle, Nespresso, & microwave.

Pets welcome! Toddler friendly with all you need to travel light!

10min to Biltmore, the Orange Peel, Downtown. ❤️of West AVL.

We are in a very central part of West Asheville but in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. It’s a ten minute meandering walk up to Sunny Point, One World Brewing, the Whale, Golden Pineapple, Early Girl, and many others. On Tuesdays you can walk up to the farmers market. There are close by playgrounds and dog parks. Ride your bike down to the greenway with ease. Or hop in your car and be downtown in five minutes.

Our space offers a separate entrance and complete privacy from the home above. The one-bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the pull-out couch with a queen mattress provides additional sleeping space for friends and family. We ask for no more than 4 guests and two pets. Please reach out if your guest list is longer.

The spacious bathroom includes both a shower and tub for your convenience. In the partial kitchen, you'll find a fridge, freezer, sink, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, air fryer, and microwave. We've stocked the kitchen with dishes and essentials, including kids' dishes, cups, and even bibs!

Enjoy your meals in the dining space or step out onto the covered porch, where you can relax in the hammock swings or gather around the dining table. From the porch, you'll have a peaceful view of the wooded lot, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a bear or fox!

We provide coffee to start your day off right, and you can unwind with two TVs equipped with streaming services. Stay connected with WiFi access, and we offer games, reading material, and picnic items for your enjoyment.

Traveling with little ones? We've got you covered! Upon request, we can provide amenities such as a pack-n-play, bath toys, and a high chair.

Please note that there are stairs leading down the path to access the space. We welcome pets, making our hideaway a perfect choice for your furry friends too!

We enjoyed our overnight stay, the rental was very clean and decorated super cute. The owner was sweet and a good communicator. The parking on the street was a bit tight but it didn't cause any issues.

West Asheville

Quaint spot in quiet West Asheville neighborhood near several restaurants and shops. Loved the peaceful porch where we enjoyed hummingbirds and songbirds. Beautiful flowers throughout the property. Highly recommended.

Beautifully appointed apartment

This basement apartment is so cute! It’s clean and private and has a nice porch available as well! The neighborhood is quiet and close to many cute restaurants. This apartment may not be great for folks with difficulty navigating stairs, as you have to use outdoor stairs without a railing to get down to it, but otherwise it’s the perfect Asheville apartment! I would stay here again!

Quaint stay

Great location one night stay and convenient for concert goers. Close to Haywood road where you can find restaurants, coffee shops etc. Be mindful there is only street parking available and it was pretty limited. The backyard is very steep to walk the pups.

Perfect stay in Asheville

Katlin is a terrific host. Rental was very clean and comfortable, perfect location for us and close to downtown. Wife and I really enjoyed our stay and we were able to bring our two schnauzers which had a backyard for them to do their business. When we return to Asheville, we hope to be staying at Katlin’s and Jesse‘s home again.

Cozy and convenient

What a beautiful space and in a great area! Amazing I could stay here with my golden retriever and be at ease during my stay. Came into town for the Half Marathon and was close enough to drive or Lyft to all things during the weekend.

Super cute spot right by downtown

By far one of the cutest vrbo’s that I’ve ever stayed in! The location is super convenient and I loved being able to walk my dog to the nearest coffee shop. The owner was very nice and communicative. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Ashville efficiency

This is a cute, clean space in a basement to stay. Loved how it was close to everything. The only complaint (if you want to call it that) is the parking on the street. I did not like that. Im not sure it is stated in the advertising of this cute place, but i think it is beneficial to know. Also, directions for the Nepresso machine would have been nice and where to get the pods. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Katlin was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Cute place

The place was cute, as listed & clean. You should be aware you are downstairs so you hear the host & their dogs but they were good about being very quite after 9 pm. There are steep stairs to the door outside as well. Other than that everything was great. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water, 2 tvs & nicely appointed.

Cute and simple. Had everything we needed for our two night stay. The area was close, 5-15 minute drive to most places we went . There is a pebble, downhill path to get into the place. Definitely not for anyone who has any trouble with walking or balance.

Wedding Anniversary

The setting of the home was lovely. We really enjoyed the covered porch. It was our favorite place to hang out. We loved the ample space to lounge and read. The kitchen was furnished just enough, and I loved the use of space. We also appreciated that NewsMax was available on the Roku, that way we could stay up-to-date on current events before our days of adventure. One of the adventures that we took-in during our vacation was to picnic and hike trails around Lake Powhatan. Our dogs loved it and the trails are family and bike-friendly. On our drive leaving Azalea Road Dog Park we got to see a black bear in town limits, so be on the lookout and stay in your vehicle. While in the area, we drove up to the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove and toured around the Chatlos Memorial Chapel. Highly recommend driving the mountains through Omni Grove Park Inn. *Breathtakingly Beautiful* Sadly though, a lot has changed in the Downtown and River Arts section since the last time we vacationed in Asheville 2 decades ago. This is no reflection on our accommodations or the hosts, but I think it is worth mentioning to those that are looking to tour around those areas to be mindful of their surroundings. There are needle disposals conveniently placed and make-shift safe-stations for addicts. The nearby Family Dollar store is very questionable. But as far as places to dine, the Sunny Point Cafe gets a 5-star as well as Early Girl Eatery a little further down Haywood Road.

Adorable…just come prepared

The property was much cuter than the bedroom shot suggests. It’s adorable! Some issues though….the tv is only as good as the streaming capability you travel with. They do not provide a livestream service…only a tv and WiFi. Neither Hulu Live nor Wow cable worked to livestream the NBA finals. We had to watch on our computer. Roku provided old tv shows but nothing we were interested in. Polished concrete floors look great, but they are cold. Throw in a pair of socks. And finally, bring your own creamers and sweeteners for coffee. Espresso pods are provided, as well as instant Nescafé coffee, but no cream or sweetener. Or maybe the host could see fit to add that to the provisions. And finally, it is street parking only. Streets are quite narrow, but it is on a dead end, so traffic is not bad.

Great Stay!!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Responsive host, clean and bright home, relaxing setting, and we especially enjoyed the porch! Walking up and down the steps to the entrance gave us good exercise as well. Location is close to all the sites we wanted to visit. We would definitely return.
