OUTDOOR LIVING
Step outside into a world of wonder with a professionally-installed firepit surrounded by majestic boulders that double as seating. Enjoy the fresh air on a large covered deck (open, no screening) equipped with outdoor dining for ten. And for the thrill-seekers among you, there's a ninja obstacle course, zipline, and monkey bars to keep everyone entertained!

With four bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, including a master suite on each level, everyone gets to rest in style!

1. The Butterfly (Primary Suite, Upstairs)
Sleeps 6: 2 Queen Beds, 2 Twin Day Beds
Elegance meets comfort in this spacious suite featuring lush, dark wood furniture set against crisp white and powder blue accents. The majestic bedroom boasts two luxurious queen beds, while the expansive walk-in closet doubles as a cozy nook with two twin daybeds. Nestled at the end of the hall, this private retreat is perfect for a family or group of up to six!

2. The Honeybee (Upstairs)
Sleeps 2: Queen Bed
Buzz over to this charming room with its cheerful beehive yellow desk, perfect for a laptop-friendly workspace. The walk-in closet is furnished with a mini-crib (crib bedding not provided) and a cushioned bench. The crib cannot be moved from this space, as it will not fit through the doorway. Step directly into the full bathroom from this room, which can also be accessed from the common/game area.

3. The Grasshopper (Upstairs)
Sleeps 2: Queen Bed
Settle into this serene bedroom, where a green farmhouse metal bedframe meets weathered barn grey furniture. The walk-in closet is spacious enough to accommodate a pack-n-play. This cozy bedroom is conveniently located across the hallway from the bathroom and adjacent to the common/game area.

4. The Ladybug (Upstairs)
Sleeps 2: Queen Bed
Tall and stately tufted upholstered headboard. Luxury pearl white curtains with a pop of scarlet red roses make this a room fit for royalty. Professional photographs of local attraction, Biltmore Estate, adorn the walls.
This bedroom is directly across from the bathroom on the opposite side of the common/game area.

5. The Dragonfly (Main Level)
Sleeps 2: Queen Bed
Earthy lavender accents and lots of natural light.
This bedroom is across the hall from a half bathroom.

6. The Firefly (Primary on Main Level)
Sleeps 2: Queen Bed
Industrial style laptop desk with floating shelves
Navy blue and burlap decor creates a down-to-earth setting
This bedroom has a full bathroom attached to it.

Additional alternative sleeping accommodations for added flexibility:
Queen Air Mattress (stored in upstairs bedroom closet)

GETTING HERE
This peaceful 4-house neighborhood sits on a private road, less than 9 miles from major sites like The Biltmore Estate and Downtown Asheville. There are no treacherous, windy, twisty, edge-of-cliff mountain roads to get here! It is right off flat main roads. No need to worry! There are no major drop-offs or hard-to-navigate situations! Unlike many Airbnb's in the Asheville area, you won't be gripping the steering wheel with white knuckles or sweating at the brow to get to The Hive.

We are not able to accommodate oversized or heavy work vehicles like dump trucks. Work crews, please find other arrangements for your construction vehicles.

SPARKLING CLEAN WITH THE GUEST IN MIND
With your health and well-being in mind, The Hive is thoroughly cleaned by the same professionals before each check-in!

The Hive is about a mile outside the Asheville city limits. Asheville law does not allow home-owners inside city limits to rent out their entire house exclusively as a short-term rental. Legally, it must be their primary residence that they rent when they're out of town, for instance. The Hive is exclusively a rental home, so you won't find personal photos on the walls, used toothpaste in the bathroom drawers, or half-used mustard in the fridge.

Due to sanitation and safety, we do not provide grills at our properties.

There is a compact high chair and a mini-crib and several of the bedroom closets are large enough to accommodate a pack-n-play.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS
We have a strict maximum guest count of 16 at each of our properties. If you need even more space, check out our other listings! The Nest, which also sleeps 16, is located directly next door to The Hive and The Corral (by request) is across from The Nest!
