Fantastic property with fantastic hosts. From booking through check out I couldn't have asked for more. Probably the single cleanest rental property I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't hesitate to book again

The Kaplan’s Mountain Retreat will not disappoint! From the astonishing view of Chimney Rock on the beautiful enclosed deck, to the spacious cabin with such a cozy atmosphere, well stocked extras and amenities, situated among the trees will certainly quench your desire for a mountain retreat. The location so close to Lake Lure and the eateries here are an added bonus. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful screened in porch!! Relaxing spot in the heart of Chimney Rock. Very close to Main Street and Lake Lure area. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. House was very clean and open.

Very enjoyable stay. House was very clean and super well stocked. The best part was the enclosed deck with a view of Chimney Rock. We spent most of our time on that deck enjoying the view.

Florida escape

Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything and the front porch was a delightful place to relax, read and watch the wildlife. The property had everything you could need for a relaxing week in the mountains. We highly recommend the area and this property.

Best Cabin in CHIMNEY ROCK!

This was our 3rd consecutive stay at this specific cabin for our annual family vacation and we had an absolute blast. The cabin is spacious, well kept, clean, and inviting. These are phenomenal, and we will absolutely be staying again in the future.

Really great House

We had a really nice time here. The location was great, the home was very clean and organized. The screened in porch was the star of this home and we spent the most time out there as the view was beautiful!

This mountain hideaway was absolutely lovely! The pictures of the house are accurate and the house was the cleanest so far that we have stayed in. The owners seem to be lovely people and responded quickly when I messaged them. Our favorite part of the property was the screened in porch with a beautiful view of Chimney Rock! We spent quite a bit of time out there. This property is tucked away just enough to feel like you’re still in the mountains but still close to the town and Lake Lure. Thank you to the owners for opening up their beautiful mountain hideaway to us and being such kind host! We hope to stay there again soon!

Amazing location! Very Clean Home!

We enjoyed our second stay at this property. It is conveniently located as well as very clean and comfortable. The amenities and extras that are made available to the guests make it feel like home away from home. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly to anyone.

Very nice house that is close to all the activities

The property was exactly as advertised and everything was really nice. The view of Chimney Rock is outstanding and, even though the house is close to town, you feel like you are in the country. We appreciated the guidebook that was for the cabin as it had restaurant recommendations as well as other amenities and attractions. We had a very nice stay.

Beautiful, well kept, fully equipped house. Centrally located and easy access. The owners were very polite and helpful with our stay. We will definitely return to this location. Thank you for helping make our vacation (anniversary) enjoyable.

Loved It!!!

Great cabin, great view, great location! My husband, myself, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren stayed for 4 nights. At first, I thought it might be a little small for us all, but it worked out well! We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The beds were really comfy, too!
