"Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return."

"There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return."

"The room was great. We stayed in 1A. Clean and spacious. Just needs a mirror in the room so you dont have to stand with bathroom door open when drying hair. Breakfast was yummy. Plenty of continental to choose from. Staff very courteous and professional. "

"The staff here are very polite and professional. The rooms look a bit tired and the bath plug has not even got a chain??? It's the second time on a visit that we have mentioned this issue. The meter on top of the heater keeps showing that the windows were open but of course they were not. The TV in the room was very difficult to turn off and when searching for a programme the tv jumped 2 channels at a time. That is basic stuff that should be regularly checked. Because there were so many of these...
