15th c. Castle, up to 25 people, pool and park

Create amazing memories in our family castle. We are renting our family house and are seeking kind guests who, while enjoying themselves, will help us improve the place and the experience by sharing their ideas and feedback. The castle has been inhabited all year-round and has all modern comfort and features. The castle features a beautiful parc of around 3 acres all enclosed behind original high stone-walls and a heated swimming pool of 12x4m On the ground floor of the castle, you will find three large living rooms (a kitchen, a dining room and a living room), a shower room and a toilet. The chateau has six bedrooms on the second floor and two on the third floor, with protective barriers so that the little ones cannot access the stairs alone. Among these eight rooms, there are two small ones for children. These two children's rooms and a larger adult room have access from one of the five main rooms. In total, the castle can accommodate up to 15 adults . children and babies can use cots and bunk beds that will put at your disposal. On the second floor there are two bathrooms and a shower room as well as three toilets, and on the second floor, a shower room with toilet. There is also an additional house located next to the castle for up to 8 more people with 3 bedrooms The chateau is surrounded by an English-style park of 1 hectare and a meadow of 2 hectares which includes a spring, a secure pond and watercress beds. You will also find a heated outdoor swimming pool measuring 12x4m. It is open from May to the end of September. Finally you will find in one of the towers of the castle a charcoal and a Gas bbq . We also provide various outdoor games (table tennis, petanque, badminton and 4 bikes - 2 adults and 2 children) The access to the castle is through the main entrance which goes up through a beautiful alley lined with chestnut trees to the round courtyard in front of the castle. Parking is available on the side of the courtyard, 50 meters from the main house. The park of the castle is entirely enclosed by high walls and the electric gate is closed at night. The janitor of the castle, Christophe, lives on site in an outbuilding separate from the castle and he will see to your reception and that you do not miss anything, by being discreet. Some bedrooms and the pool are not in pictures as their are currently being renovated. The check-in time is at 3pm and the check-out time is at 11am. We take care of the cleaning of the castle and cottage for 300 Euros per stay. We only expect our guests to do their dishwashing, clean their wastes in the various bins provided and remove the used bedsheets and towels and leave them at the bedrooms' doors when they leave.
