The Space

A character A-frame chalet in historic Arrowtown, with a pitched roof, warm detailing and plenty of natural light throughout.

The layout flows from entry via ranch slider onto vinyl flooring, then living area immediately to right with couch and coffee tables, then kitchen bench with barstools behind TV wall, then kitchen along left leading to bathroom, then bedroom on main level with balcony access, then internal staircase leading to mezzanine with two single beds.

Bedrooms: Two bedrooms, with balcony views toward Arrowtown mountains; mezzanine window views to neighbouring backyard.

Bathrooms: One bathroom. On full bathroom located on ground floor with standing shower. Laundry is also located inside the bathroom.

Living areas: Open-plan living and dining with heat pump.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with oven, glass electric cooktop, dishwasher, inverter microwave, toaster, kettle.

External: There is a patio out back with a table and chairs.

Let us know your preferred configuration at least 3 days before arrival. Changes requested after this time will incur a fee of NZD $100 per bed plus a NZD $10 call-out fee if requested after check-in, which covers our external cleaners coming to rearrange beds and fit new linen.



Guest Access

Guests have full use of the property — kitchen, lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms, and balcony.



The Neighbourhood

Arrowtown is essentially a beautifully preserved gold‑rush village dating back to the mid‑1800s. The heart of town—Buckingham Street—is lined with heritage buildings, old miners’ cottages, and tree‑lined avenues. Many of these buildings are restored and house cafés, galleries, boutique shops, restaurants. The Chinese miners’ settlement by Bush Creek, with its restored huts, is a poignant reminder of Arrowtown’s past.



Set beside the Arrow River, with hills rising around, Arrowtown has a strong sense of nature being very close. There are riverside and hill trails, scenic views, native bush, and deciduous trees. In autumn especially, the foliage turns vivid golds, oranges and reds, giving a magical feel.

Fire alarm: Sensitive, so please take care when cooking and have the extraction fan turned on

Extra linen and a mid-stay clean are available for a fee.

Baby Bundle (portacot, high chair, baby bath) is available on request for NZD $50.



Please make all requests at least 3 days before arrival — later requests incur an additional NZD $10 call-out fee.



The first round of amenities is complimentary. If you're staying more than 5 days, we'd recommend picking up extra during your stay.



House Rules

Maximum of 4 guests, with children aged 0–2 staying free.

At least one guest must be over the age of 22

No pets, parties, or smoking/vaping indoors — and please, no glitter

This property is in a residential area; quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
