The Cri-Cri House will seduce you with its warm and family-friendly interior. It is a 50m2 house placed in the middle of a 400m2 garden.
It is composed of:
A cozy living room - dining room
A fully equipped and open kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, filter coffee maker, oven, microwave, stovetop...)
A room with a double bed in 140
A room with bunk beds in 90 cm and a single bed in 90 cm
a bathroom with a washing machine
an independent bathroom
a covered terrace with a charcoal barbecue
a lovely tree-lined garden with deck chairs
Parking possible in the garden (1 car) and on the street, in front of the property (safe and available location)

This house will offer you a warm and relaxing setting to spend excellent vacations with family or friends.
This house is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, yet you will be just a stone's throw away from the city center, shops, ocean beaches (le grand crohot)...
Andernos Les Bains is located 5 kms from Arès. You will find a dynamic city center with covered market, cinema, pedestrian and shopping street, casino, public swimming pool...

In July and August, we welcome you every day except Saturday.
Animals are welcome, but access to the sofa and beds is prohibited, and the accommodation must be cleared of hair and droppings before your departure.
It is forbidden to organize a party in this accommodation, the residence is quiet and must remain so.

Deposit to be paid by bank card: you will receive an email in the week preceding your arrival. The deposit will not be debited.
We ask that you always seek permission from the concierge before charging your electric vehicule. The concierge reserves the right to refuse your request based on the owner’s instructions and the electrical installation.

(Note: This is a proper noun/name, so it remains the same in English as in French)
The small village of Arès is located in the north of the Arcachon Basin, between Andernos and Lège Cap Ferret.
His small oyster farming village with white and blue cabins is typical of the basin. It marks the beginning of the Prés Salés, a marshy area at the bottom of the basin where it is pleasant to walk, hike, or observe the local flora and fauna.
By following the basin along the coastal path, you will reach Andernos through the natural site of Quinconces.
Next to Arès, you will find Andernos les Bains. Andernos les Bains is a city with over 12,000 inhabitants, with 1 cinema, a covered public swimming pool, 1 skate park, 1 city stadium, several playgrounds for children, a climbing room, a laser game... You can stroll through the pedestrian street to shop, eat an ice cream or a crepe, walk on the pier (the longest in France offering a unique panorama of the Basin, the Tchanquées cabins, the bird island...) or eat oysters in one of the multiple tastings at the port.
Without forgetting the Domaine de Certes (Audenge), the ornithological reserve of Teich, the Aqualand park (Gujan Mestas), the Ladybug Park and Kid Park (Gujan Mestras).
One hour south, you will not be able to come to the basin without visiting Arcachon and the winter city and then climbing the Dune du Pilat.
30 minutes to the north, you will visit the Cap Ferret Peninsula, its 10 villages, its oyster ports, the Cap Ferret lighthouse, the panoramic view from the Cap-Ferret point, the ice creams from Frédhélian, the Bélisaire jetty, the little train...
The vast network of bicycle paths in the Gironde will allow you to tour the basin by bike, connect to ocean beaches, Cap Ferret, or even Arcachon for the most motivated cyclists.
Maritime shuttles from Uba connect Andernos to Arcachon and Cap Ferret to Arcachon.
The Passe Marée also allows you to reach Arcachon by sea, even at low tide, and it also offers boat trips on the basin, departing from Andernos.
On the Basin side, you will find a multitude of small beaches between Arès and Andernos, but you will have to wait for high tide to swim, except at the Saint Brice Lake (Arès), a small water retention area in the basin, which allows swimming regardless of the tide.
With children, you will love the Betey beach (Andernos), where you can enjoy a children's playground directly on the beach, taste ice cream, crepes... in the small beach snack bar, have a picnic in the shade of pine trees and swim at high tide.
On the Atlantic Ocean side, the Grand Crohot beach is the ocean beach closest to Andernos (about 15 minutes by car), but you will find a multitude of beaches more or less crowded, more or less accessible, along the kilometers of coastline offered by the Atlantic Ocean.
In summer, Cap 33 offers a multitude of free sports activities accessible to everyone (see the online program).

Arès Market: every Tuesday morning
Andernos Market: every Friday morning outdoors and covered market (open depending on the season)
Lège Bourg Market: every Saturday morning.
Cap Ferret Market: every morning from mid-June to mid-September, then on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays for the rest of the year
Piraillan Market: every morning from mid-June to mid-September

You will be able to do your shopping in the supermarkets of Arès: Leclerc, Lidl and Carrefour City.

In summer and winter, the basin is lively all year round thanks to local events:
The Oyster Festival of Arès on the weekend of August 15th
Cabins in celebration on the first Saturday of December
The Andernos Jazz Festival at the end of July

Finally, let's not forget Lacanau, Soulac-sur-Mer, Bordeaux, the vineyards of Médoc and its castles...
