Short walk or short drive to downtown Arecibo — municipal plaza, churches, restaurants, small supermarkets, Arecibo Harbor and coastal viewpoints. Vibe: quiet, locally oriented neighborhood with easy access to tourist sites in the municipality (beaches, coastal walkways, local markets).

Primary modes: rental car (recommended), taxi or private shuttle. Intercity public buses (“guaguas”) run between towns but are infrequent and not always visitor-friendly; hire/taxi or arranged transport is common for tourists. Walking is practical for nearby downtown sites, restaurants and the harbor; expect limited dedicated bike infrastructure. Rideshare availability varies and may be limited in Arecibo compared with San Juan.
