"I had a lovely solo stay at Maria Rousse! It was clean and quiet at the hotel with only a few minutes walk to the Malia strip which leads to Malia beach! All the hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly! It was never any issue getting a sun lounger by the pool! The food at the bar was very tasty especially the Cretan breakfast which I ate most mornings! I also highly recommended the bars cocktails! "

"The host Eva is an amazing lady who made us really feel at home, with all her warmth. The place is beautiful, great view, clean and convenient located. The service was amazing. Evas attention to detail really makes this place feel like a home away from home. Only request would be, we didn’t get the recipe of the home-made cookies and snacks made by Eva’s mom that they served us."

"Les villas étaient vraiment propres. la piscine qui a une bonne taille est nettoyée tous les jours. attention accès de 8h du matin à 20h30 pour permettre le nettoyage. Les hôtes étaient vraiment disponibles. Ils habitent sur les lieux mais sont très discrets. L'avantage est qu'on peut leur demander des choses et ils répondaient assez rapidement. "Der Aufenthalt in Vagelis Elternhaus im Dorf hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Wohnung, die wir bewohnt haben (es ist die größere der beiden mit 2 Schlafräumen) war liebevoll bestückt - so wie es andere schon berichtet haben.
