The property has nice bones, but it’s obvious regular upkeep and maintenance has been long deferred. We arrived to a kitchen with a broken oven door-the handle was lying in the stove when we arrived. We got regular updates that help was on the way to fix the oven handle but no one came. Many if not most of the outlets on the main floor are taped over with masking tape, not all fixtures have working bulbs. Our master suite featured a broken craftsman-era fixture with one led bulb hastily inserted. Watch out for the handsome European tiles of the upstairs master suite-they are in need of regrout: until then they pinch! The game room was dirty with dead bugs and spiders, so we didn’t spend much time there. Overall, the property photos are out of date for the state of the rooms and furnishings. Photos & listing indicate a pool table but it is absent. Instead, there is an air hockey table, that’s ok, but it’s nice to have an accurate idea of what you’re paying for. Bottom line: it’s hard to entertain 7 people for 5 nights without a working oven!
