Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

The space
Carefully designed to be a relaxing forest retreat, this recently remodeled 900 sq. ft. downstairs apartment was crafted with an artistic eye, many custom built elements create a decor that is simple, peaceful and elegant. A brand new central heating system creates a warm cozy feeling in minutes. Wash the road off in our rain shower, bundle up with blankets for on demand tv, or choose soft music and mood lighting. You have arrived. You can forget about where you came from for awhile!

A couple of considerations: We have done what we could to make this home wheelchair friendly, eliminating every step except for the curb of the shower. At this point however, we do not have grab bars installed and the driveway is also a steep incline.

Feel free to park in our driveway! Enter the gate and the front door is past the pond on the right. Welcome!
Other things to note
There are safety fences available for the fish pond if toddlers are visiting.
