Quaint Little Porch Cottage

This cottage is perfect for the couple that wants to get away or just by yourself. We call it The Porch Cottage for a reason, its cozy screened in porch is the perfect setting for your morning coffee or just relaxing and watching the wildlife.

The Porch Cottage sits with 6 other rentable cabins on 38 gated private acres. You will find a comfortable Queen size bed, with on bath suite, stand up shower, vanity and toilet.
Kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and sink. Small desk for working, Dining table for 2 and small loveseat.
On the screened in porch, you will find two different areas for relaxing. A nice little porch swing and 2 wicker patio chairs with cushions and side table.

This wonderful property connects to our 700-acre farm. Where we have a pond for fishing and 6 miles worth of hiking trails both for your enjoyment.

Come and relax and enjoy.

We are pet friendly property. Due to some guest having allergies to cats. Cats are not allowed.

Cottage in the Woods

We enjoyed getting out and hiking through the trails and chatting with neighbors. If you are planning on staying here, you really need to bring cookware, and something to cook on. I did see outdoor grills but no pans or pots in cabin.

Elephant Rock and Water falls

Our stay was great. Everything was neat and clean. The property manager responded quickly and the property was secure and beautiful. I would recommend this place for a peaceful place to stay while visiting the beautiful natural wonders.

October trip

The property was very nice and clean. It was smaller than I expected, but I'm sure it was represented correctly. The TV was in the bedroom and we would have preferred it in the living area, but there really wasn't room there. I really liked the air conditioner/heater! We used both. All and all, I would recommend staying there and we may again. Very convenient location if you're planning on Elephant Rock state park.

State Parks vacation

Everything was great, the cabin, the property, the host! She was very quick to respond with answers to my questions. The trails on the property were very nice, it was very easy to get into nature, we saw a bobcat, some deer and lots of squirrels. I’m definitely staying there in the future.

Fun cottage on a great piece of property.

Well kept cottages and cabins. Property has sweeping views of the surrounding Ozark Mountains and hiking opportunities right on site. Very relaxing two night stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and picturesque

I was looking for a quiet getaway close to hiking trails. This place is close to many state parks but I enjoyed the hiking on the property so much I spent the day there instead of venturing out. There are restaurants and grocery nearby. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Overall a great little retreat!

Adorable, comfortable cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Porch. The cottage was perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the snacks and cold bottled water waiting for us at our arrival. The place was immaculate! The cute kitchenette provided a nice mini-fridge, microwave, coffee provisions, and table for two.The bedroom and bathroom are very nice, and good sized- much roomier than they look in the photos. The property is absolutely gorgeous. There are several trails to enjoy. There's even a fishing pond and beautiful garden. We saw a deer one morning and a mama with two little ones the next day. There's so much more! A truly charming place. Linda was very helpful and quickly responded to all of my messages.

What a stunning property. We found it on a whim as we wanted to see some of the amazing parks in the area. We did all of those but could have easily spent the entire week on this property alone. There are hiking trails, a fishing lake, and creeks to stomp in and hunt for cool rocks. Not to mention all the wildlife running around. We saw a beautiful doe in the evenings! We are really hoping we can host a family gathering there next year if we can get everyone’s schedules coordinated. We LOVED it here. Accommodations were top notch and high end finishes. Very clean and even smelled amazing!

Winter Getaway

My husband and I decided to capitalize on a few nice day and see the sites in the area. This is an amazing property with a variety of rentals to choose from. We enjoyed taking walks on their trails which offer beautiful views of pasture land and woods. The cabin was super cozy and was lovely sitting on the swing drinking coffee in the morning. We loved our porch cabin for a winter getaway and hopefully will be back to see it in another season!

Peaceful Retreat

This little slice of heaven in Arcadia, Missouri is a great place to take a much-needed respite. It would be perfect for a couple, although I went by myself and it was fabulous. The property is amazing and I walked A few of the trails would definitely go back.!!

Hidden Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Porch cabin. We didn't fully realize or appreciate what we were booking until we arrived and were very pleasantly surprised with the venue. The privacy and security of the gated property was fully appreciated, and it was the perfect "base camp" for our hiking adventures at Elephant Rocks State Park and Johnson's Shut-ins. There is so much more to explore in the area, we will be planning another trip and know exactly where to stay! Thank you, Linda, for a wonderful, weekend getaway. We enjoyed it immensely!

Peaceful Palace

My 9 yr old son and I had an amazing stay at The Loft of Arcadia. The Porch Cottage was perfect for us and the property was so peaceful and serene. Everything was fabulous about our stay. We will definitely return to The Lofts.....it was just what we needed to relax and unwind.
