Welcome to Bear Country! In the charming Gîte de Pene Blanque, housed in a tastefully renovated old village house, you'll find peace and quiet for a vacation with family or friends. Julien and Céline have been working in the village of Arbas for 17 years and have completed four years of renovations before being able to offer you this accommodation, with its unique decor, furnishings, and comfort, demonstrating their passion for a job well done. They can't wait to welcome you; you can book with your eyes closed! Ideally located, the village, in the heart of the Pyrenean Bear country, offers a multitude of sporting activities: cycle and mountain bike path next to the cottage, paragliding departure from the village... In the surrounding area, you will not be bored: the start of the Planque hike is 2km away and that of the Fontaine de l'Ours 8km, the village of Aspet is 12km away (Cocktail Aventure, O2 Bike, municipal swimming pool open all summer, remarkable market, shops), Salies-du-Salat is 15km away (casino, golf and thermal baths) and Saint-Girons is 30km away (department of Ariège). To eat well locally, goat cheese dairy in a nearby village (the cheese is sold on the market on Sundays), the Auberge de Fougaron is 3km away, the Meurette in Rouède is 7km away and the Quésaco de Saleich is 10km away. Gîte on 3 levels: - On the ground floor overlooking the alley: living room (Bluetooth speaker), kitchen/dining room, separate toilet. - On the first floor: 3 bedrooms (2 single beds (90x200cm)), (1 double bed (160x200cm), shower room) (1 double bed (140x200cm), shower room), office and tourist information in the hallway, bathroom, separate toilet. - On the second floor: games and reading room with a sofa bed (140x200cm) (board games, DVD player) and a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the rooftop terrace. Pétanque is available in the driveway (no garden). Pétanque balls and rackets are available for loan.
