  • Nice, long hike today. Went down the Bridge Creek Trail, and then to Maple Falls. About an 8-mile total hike. Redwoods everywhere you look, and a deep dark forest that gave lots of 'mood'. We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

Thanksgiving beach vacation

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay very much! We gave it five stars overall for its location, cleanliness and hot tub. I would agree with some of the other reviewers and say that the couch is not that comfy and there isn’t much seating in living room for a family of 4. Since we stayed during thanksgiving, the pots and pans could be updated or refreshed because most were unusable. Other than that, we had a wonderful time walking to the beach and enjoying the beautiful area.

Still a nice spot

Second time staying at the blue house. Location is still great. The sunset view out of the kitchen window is maybe my favorite part. The kids love coming back chilly from the beach, rinsing off at the outside shower and hopping in the hot tub for awhile before taking a real shower. The hot tub wasn’t locked up at arrival and didn’t seem cleaned but the property manager was responsive to that. The bunk bed is getting a little worse for wear and kept us up with the really loud squeaking- hopefully a quick fix could change that for others.

Little disappointed

The photos make this property look much better than real life. The cleanliness of the house was lack luster, the sheets had weird smudges on them, the coffee maker was crusty which made me not want to use it. The bathroom was kinda dingy, the toilet seat cover broken, the sink knobs very wobbly. I did not feel that I got what I paid for, which was way too much for this tiny beach bungalow.

Nice relaxing spot

Nice clean place, close to the beach, a nice restaurant and cafe, and a state park with a jetty and curious old shipwreck. Close to Santa Cruz but far enough away to feel smaller and quieter. Easy check-in, check-out, house was cozy and comfortable. Thank you for a nice time!

Perfect Getaway spot

This cute little house was just what my partner and I needed for a quick weekend away from San Francisco. Everything was just as expected and advertised, and the reservation process was seamless. This is a two story house, so it was a little challenging without having a baby gate to keep our daughter away from the stairs (having one available would have been super handy). Overall, it was a 10/10 stay :)

Great location close to the beach

The location was walking distance to the beach. House is in a quiet neighborhood. Only compliant is the couch in the house is very uncomfortable and that the main bedroom bed is not comfortable at all either. Great place for a quick beach vacation though.

Nicely decorated interior, just a block or so from the beach. The home has the feel of a beach bungalow. We enjoyed the stay!
