Location was great, house clean, communication with VRBO & Real estate company was very good. Saw fish, manatees, turtles, all kinds of birds, & devil ray fly out of the water-AWESOME! Water was emerald green, clear and refreshing. However, 4 stars given due to: kitchen needs a 13 gallon garbage can & cabinets/shelving for food! No dressers in 2 of the rooms to store clothes. No throw rugs or runners provided inside at doors or beds to catch the sand on feet. Only a broom which does NOT clean up sand. May consider a light weight vacuum available to guests. May also consider yellow turtle lights for outside, we rescued a baby turtle in path going toward house lights rather than the towards moon/gulf. Upstairs in closed porch/living room needs curtains: extremely hot & glare when afternoon sun comes in.

2nd Time Around

This was our 2nd booking for this home. Obviously we keep coming back for a reason. The location on the island and to the beach can’t be beat. However the property itself is somewhat under whelming not in function but aesthetically and with cleanliness. Inside the floors were filthy, and the table surfaces I’m positive weren’t cleaned in a while. I specifically inquired about rugs upon booking. I was told there were rugs. There are all tile floors and still no rugs at either door in which to clean the sand from one’s feet. The remnant piece at the outside back door did nothing. I’m sure I sound like I’m picking it apart, but I’m not . It is a great location and home. I just think a little updating of furniture and decor and thought put into basics would go along way. Definitely do it a third time I’m sure ..

What a wonderful beach!

The house is spacious and great location. Short walk on the path behind house right onto beach. It isn’t a crowded area of beach either. This area is just houses and no resorts or hotels. Beach is beautiful white sand and very clean! The kitchen had all needed appliances and cookware and glasses and plates. No staples such as salt or spices or anything like that though. The deck on upper level has a little view of beach and table and chairs. It was great to sit outside early and look at ocean and eat breakfast! It didn’t have the comfy lounger shown in picture though. There’s a grill for cooking outside also and wagon with four beach chairs which was great! (Although my boys did complain that the wagon didn’t pull well at all on the sand :)) Beds were comfortable and great couches with large tv on both levels. We really enjoyed our stay!

I’m now in love with AnnaMaria Island

Location was amazing. Photos need to be updated for property. Outside path to beach needs to cleaned up and made more walkable, over grown bushes blocking beach view was a little disappointing.

Perfect location

You can’t beat the location with direct views and access to a quiet peaceful and beautiful beach. The house itself is a bit older but provides the basics for a family beach trip.

Great Location; Home in Okay shape

We had a great time staying at Anna Maria Island. The home has a great location with ocean view, direct beach access, and really close to several good, family-friendly restaurants. One downside: The home was not in great shape. Particularly the bathroom on the lower level is a bit run down.

Terrible experience and unsatisfactory resolution.

Within hours of checking in, the entire second floor was full of hundreds of swarming termites. We called to get help but were not able to reach someone until the following morning. We spent most of the day going back and forth to see what our options were. None of them met our needs or expectations. We ended up canceling our stay and going home. Some of the money we had paid was credited back leaving us with a $600 bill for one bug-infested stay (less than 24 hours). The house was very dirty and looked like the floors had not been cleaned with sand and black dirt everywhere. The AC on the first flood did not work very well. The beds were too hard and uncomfortable. We tried to work with AMI Locals and VRBO. VRBO refused to credit us for any of their charges and AMI locals only a partial. Overall this was a very poor experience and do not feel this matter was resolved to the level of our satisfaction. I hope others don't have to experience what we did at this location.

Perfect getaway!

We enjoyed this beautiful, clean, and spacious home! Ocean and sunset views from the upstairs. 3 minute walk to the beach. Easy check in and check out. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful location

Perfect location, close to the beach and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay, although it was short we will definitely be back!

Nice

Nice home and pretty clean. You can see the ocean but only from living room upstairs, sunroom, and deck. Also, have quite a few steps to get to master suite and the master bed was pretty bad. We still very much enjoyed ourselves! But we are all in good health so stairs and a walk to the beach wasnt too bad.

Beautiful would come back

Great location and beautiful large house. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of sand toys and chairs and towels for beach time. Responds quick to issues via text and they sent out someone in the next day or two. Only recommendations is #1- the property managers check to make sure everything is working before having guests come in. Dishwasher broken and 2 rooms remotes/apple or roku boxes not functioning. Batteries dead in other remotes. #2- please make broom and mop available. Only thing to help clean is a small vacuum and with all the sand and a child, we really needed another option. I'm assuming cleaning supplies are what is located in the room where the door is locked.

Location! Location!!

This rental is in a prime location, if you like to be off the beaten path and not in the craziness. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. The beach was just out the back door and down a path. The only issues we had, there were no rugs, lots of sand and no broom. There was a small vacuum that picked up nothing. I purchased a broom, and brought it back home with us. I used the towels that were supplied as rugs thru out the rental. It was superficially cleaned, could use a deep clean.. Even with theses small issues I would recommend it.

Cochroaches

The home itself and location were good - however, continual accumulation of cockroach feces in upstairs master bedroom was not addressed prior to check in which resulted in. Continued accumulation throughout the week. Management was notified along with sending photographic evidence. Praying we are not taking cockroaches home. Very concerned and disappointed.

Janky. Was not what was represented in the ad.

What follows is what I sent to their “team” on Sunday 5/22/22. I also sent pictures. I was told they are reviewing my complaints, we have been home for two days and have heard nothing from them. I wish I could include the pictures here. I wasn't going to be "that person" but when one pays top dollar for a place, you expect to get what was at least advertised. I finally switched out the TV from the bunk bed room to the main bedroom as that TV's speaker is obviously blown, (no sound). It would have been very nice to have washcloths and a full length mirror somewhere in the house. The couch downstairs is so covered in stains and grossness that we didn't sit on it without first putting a beach towel down, also the table in downstairs living room is so covered in filth from people's feet that we didn't want to sit anything on it. Also the main bedroom walls have dirty foot prints, looks like someone had wild sex(more power to them) but not a visual I want to experience on the bed that I'm sleeping in. The fan in the main bedroom downstairs looks like it could possibly fall from the ceiling any day. Over all the house was clean other than that. The upstairs deck was nothing like advertised-no cushions and the metal chairs hit the back of your knees, so that you could only sit there for a few minutes at a time. No lounge like what was pictured with comfy cushions either. The North wall upstairs, window ledge was covered with termite wings and live ones were visible on the shade. We really think that we did not get what was promised from your ad. We do acknowledge that you were prompt at fixing the upper deck door, thank goodness as the only escape would have been the front staircase. Pictures to follow this text.

Perfect family vacation home!

This listing was everything it said it was. The location is perfect to be a part of all in town experiences or to just stay put! We had such a great time and felt right at home with plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out.
