Construction in process will do little to improve this unit
This was the first time we used VRBO at the Angel Fire Resort. It was not the usual VRBO experience with the owners.
This was a property that was run by the resort property manager. We had to go to a different site to check-in and out.
We were given directions to the property, but the manager knew little to nothing about the actual property when asked about specifics.
The property was undergoing construction during our stay (this was not disclosed, even when we were checking in) and as such, there were outlets on the patio that were completely exposed. We were adults so we just stayed off that patio, but if there were children, this could have been an issue.
One shower was fine, the other was a dribble. One bed was fine, the other was leaning. The bedroom heaters didn't have functioning thermostats, they ran all the time or you had to turn them off. The oven didn't function, but the stove did. When we were cleaning up at the end the dishwasher had been run prior to us entering, but the soap packet had never deployed. Good thing we cleaned everything we used! The kitchen floor was unlevel enough to notice. The refrigerator slid out from the wall whenever the door was opened. The carpets were stained and burn marked. There is no WIFI. The fireplace screen was almost completely useless.(Although they did have a freestanding screen to be used also)
There was one parking spot for the unit.
Conclusion : if you're looking for a unit close to the slopes that you won't spend much time in, this is a good choice. If you like to cook then i would avoid this unit, since the oven did not work.
