"If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. "

"Went to the area for a Vintage Base Ball game. Decided to stay in Cheboygan to explore another city in Michigan I have not been too. This Hotel was the perfect location. It was just a minutes drive from downtown and a ten minute walk. Close to several Lighthouses that you can explore. We enjoyed the Hot Tub, Pool and the Breakfast they served. Check out the yogurt station with a variety of granola options. Only downside was inside the room there was a part of the floor that was peeling right in...

"The rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. The hot tub felt like we were getting drowning in chemical fumes… the whole pool area honestly just felt stuffy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast! About 15 minute walk to St.Ignace downtown which was great! All around, we are very pleased with our time."

"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟"

"The room was well maintained, but the decor needs to be seriously updated. The red shag covered bench at the end of the bed and the red orange sofa footstool especially. The carriage into town were great, but count on 35 minutes to arrive. The carriage rides to return need some work as they stop at 6:00 pm and the taxis are over an hour wait as they prioritize other areas of the island after 6:00.
