    1 - THE 2010 20' BENTLEY PONTOON W/ 50 HP HONDA 4 STROKE HAS LIFE JACKETS WITH A 50 HP MOTOR, WE DON'T ALLOW TUBING OR WAKEBOARDING WITH THIS BOAT, ONLY CRUISING.
    BOAT PRICING AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
    RENTALS ARE DAILY OR WEEKLY.

    This adorable Three Bedroom, two Bath LAKEFRONT brick cottage has Tennessee Crab orchard stone floors. The upstairs loft overlooks the great room which has rock floors, double sliding glass doors, vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. The Great Room connects the Kitchen, hallway and bedrooms to create a wonderful open floor plan.

    The upstairs loft with connecting bedroom has a foosball table, card table and a futon couch for relaxing. All main level bedrooms and bathrooms have tile floors and upstairs has bamboo floors.

    Both Bathrooms have been remodeled, the Master Bathroom has a tub/shower and the other bathroom has a walk-in Shower, both on the main level.

    Nice comfortable furniture and beds throughout.

    Main level bedroom 1 has 1 Queen Bedroom with Flat Screen TV and bedroom 2 has one King size bed.

    Upstairs has 1 Queen size Bed with Flat Screen TV along with a loft area with seating and Game tables.

    On the lake side the house has Double Sliding Glass Doors with windows above for views from upstairs. It is located on the open and deep sailboat waters also referred to as DEEP WATER of Lake Hartwell.

    CONVENIENT AND EASY TO FIND LOCATION on a nice QUIET DEAD END STREET with only a few houses in a private cove near the Richland Creek BOAT RAMP. Stone Creek Cove golf course is within a mile.

    CLOSE TO SHOPPING - WITHIN 5 MILES to three grocery stores, ABC store, Gas stations, Portman and Big Water marinas, hardware store and restaurants. Within 8 miles of town of Anderson, approx. 20 miles to Clemson and approx. 45 miles to Greenville. RAINES AT STONE CREEK COVE RESTAURANT IS APPROX. 20 DOCKS DOWN ON THE LEFT-HAND SHORE LINE FROM OUR DOCK.

    Located at the mouth of private cove right around the corner from Richland Creek boat ramp. Close to all beaches and islands, to name a few: River Forks, Singing Pines, Andersonville Island, Sandy Island, Beer Tree Island and may others. Portman Marina is within 15 minutes by boat. Coming from Portman, turn hard left at Buoy S 10 to enter our cove.

    About the Cove & dock
    Enjoy the natural scenery with a walk around the shoreline to a private peninsula that brings you to the boat ramp. From the Boat ramp you can walk to our dock by the shoreline, it is the third covered dock with a sundeck, and lighting for night fishing or boating. Our cove is private with approx. 9 docks which provides protection from big water boat waves.

    PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE to provide peace of mind that if plans are complicated by the unexpected, your financial losses could be protected.

    Keywords: Lakefront house with trees on both sides for privacy screening and lots of windows. Located on a quiet dead end street on almost flat lot with nice pathway leading (no stairs or dirt paths) to the covered dock with sundeck. Close to boat ramp.

What an excellent spot on the lake! Our stay here was perfect. We had everything we needed. It's right next to a boat ramp, close to a marina and pretty close to a great restaurant (JR Cash's) at big water marina on the water. The host was very courteous and helpful with questions/requests. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location right on the water

We were visiting for a fishing tournament. Location to green pond was so convenient. House accommodated our two families perfectly. Easy boat parking and the water was beautiful. Kids loved the kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. If we are lucky enough to make it back to the national championship next year… we would definitly stay here again.

Great stay!

This is the 3rd time we have rented Makin' waves. We come up from Charleston for a Clemson game. It is a short drive the Clemson. We have a great time swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the lake. Renee is a get host. We will be coming back again!

Nice location. There is a resturant called "The Local" right around the corner on the Lake.

Nice Lake front property. Lots of room and easy access to the boat dock. Owners were always very helpful and quick to reply. Would recommend the "Making Waves" property for your family fun.

wonderful!

we had a great stay. we loved the lay out of the house and the back yard. We had a great fire and we fished off the dock quite a lot. It really was a great place on the lake ! lot's of space for parking and the owners answered our questions right away ! would love to stay again.

Fun times

Property is located on a quiet cove on a quiet street. We enjoyed the kayak, canoe and wish we had rented the pontoon boat. The fire pit was a hit! Owner has made many updates to the home including bathrooms and kitchen. New paint throughout the home was very cheerful. We enjoyed dinner at The Local Pub and Eatery located very close to property. Owner was very accommodating and we enjoyed our short stay.

Relaxing

Walking into the house was very warm & welcoming. We rented the pontoon boat and had so much fun cruising around the lake. We cruised over to the Galley for Saturday dinner awesome food had the best strawberry cake for dessert. Great place to stay enjoyed every day there.

Cute and Quiet Lakefront Beauty

We loved this house and would definitely stay again. The owners were amazingly responsive to all of our needs and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The location is on a quiet inlet of the lake, but we had great access when using the pontoon boat we rented from the owners. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and exploring the area. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We would absolutely rent this house again.

Vacation!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Making Waves! The house was very clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink, but we contacted the home owner and he came and repaired it within a couple of hours! My husband and 4yr grandson caught some nice fish off the dock!! We did rent the Pontoon boat from the owners and that was awesome!! We had a Great Week!!

Great time at the lake

This was a perfect lake vacation for our family. We rented the pontoon and had great time exploring Lake Hartwell. The house provided just as much fun swimming in the cove and endless foosball tournaments with the boys. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Location on Lake Hartwell

This is a cute home with lake access and a dock in a quiet area. It has a large yard leading down to the lake. We rented the pontoon boat from Troy and Renee and also made use of the brand new paddle boards. The home had everything needed for a great time on the lake! Anderson, SC is close by and offers many options for eating out for dinner. We look forward to staying again! Troy and Renee went well above and beyond as hosts!

Great rental!

Great rental! Booked it for a birthday weekend with all of our friends! We had a ball! Everything was exactly as stated, super convenient! We also rented the pontoon, and brought our own two jet skis for the water! Ending the night with a great fire pit session with all of our friends in the big nice yard! We will def be staying here again for our getaways!

Waterfront charm

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute waterfront home. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat during your stay. We were on the lake all 3 days of our stay. We were able to make our lunch and enjoy it at one of the private island beaches located around the lake. The evenings were spent relaxing. We had dinner out one night and the town is a short distance away. There are also several marinas in the area that were fun to visit. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We'd stay here again.

The beds are comfortable with ample linens for the bath. The kitchen has nothing missing as well. There’s a gas grill and a charcoal grill for your needs. It’s a short walk to the dock and beautiful views from the very quiet slough. The air conditioning worked perfectly for our stay. I would recommend this home for your stay, and I will return if the opportunity arises. The renter was very responsive prior to check in. There were no issues during our 4 day stay, so thankfully we did not find it necessary to have problems resolved. I give my recommendation that this is a GREAT property to stay in during a trip to Lake Hartwell.

Great value and stay.

Number one priority for us, cleanliness. House was very clean, great location to stores, state parks, boat launch and a short walk to the boat dock. Owners were very responsive, would recommend and stay again.

Perfect Setup for a Tournament Fishing Family

The house, location and the Pontoon Boat access all worked out perfectly for our Family. We were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the lake during the day and watch the weigh in at Green Pond later in the afternoon. We couldn't have asked for a better setup for our situation.
