This hotel is a little gem, based in a very peaceful and scenic area. My friend and I were in the area for a local running event (the Indian Summer 127km ultra). We were shown around by the proprietor in a very warm but effective manner, and when she heard that we would not be able to sit for breakfast the following morning (due to a very early start for our run), she made up a generous breakfast pack and delivered it to our room. For a twin room, the size was average. The bed was made up of two narrow singles beds pushed together, as per the European standard. The room was beautiful, with traditional wood beams and pillars. Breakfast in the restaurant (on the second morning) was very healthy, nutritious and filling. We had a selection of breads, cold meats, cheese, soft boiled egg, Greek yogurt & granola and fruit.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
