"This was a great hotel. We got the penthouse suite which had it's own huge balcony and hot tub. The room itself was small but cozy. The bed was comfortable. Good linens and towels. The wifi was a little spotty but no complaints besides that. Make sure you get breakfast. It was incredible. Good staff."

"This property is in a great location, close to the ferry port, shopping, and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it was a royal pain when the power went out (not the property’s fault)-it was a long way down from the 6th floor to carry a heavy bag down the stairs. "The Port square hotel is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at. I read a number of reviews that were good and fair but I'm giving this a great one.. we were steps away from the train terminal which provided access to the hotel from the airport. All we had to do is take the blue line which is train three straight from the airport to the Piraeus terminal and cross the street to the hotel. We were also able to go to the center of Athens and two places outside the center of Athens cheaply...

"The pool is closed for the summer season 2026. This was not advised to us before we arrived. We would have changed hotel as this was a major feature behind our choice. It is also not a 5 star hotel by UK standards, so don't expect that. The staff were lovely, and so very helpful. The beds are comfy and clean, the aircon works well. There are areas where there needs updates."

"We got into Athens later than expected and needed to stay the night before catching a ferry in the morning. We got booked into a family room which was a separate room for our 17 year old daughter with an adjoining door. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend"

"Very comfortable and quiet. Staff was great and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the breakfast could definitely be improved. The omelet was dry and pretty tasteless, and the breakfast hours were too late for tourists who wanted to get an early start in the morning to avoid the heat"
