The Lake House - Hot tub with Lake view!

Most popular for its endless amenities, guests enjoy eating meals with a view of the lake from the dining area, fishing off your own private dock, taking a stroll around the lake in one of the two kayaks, lounging by the fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, hiking the beautiful Holiday Haven property, playing a game of pool, or roasting toasty marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. The Lake House is perfect for those looking to make life-long memories in the Hocking Hills.

The Lake House is located in the private Holiday Haven community and is located off of a private gravel drive. While the house does have its own dock, guests will have access to the community beach, dock and picnic shelter located just around the corner from Lake House.

Recently updated, the Lake House is one of the few water front properties in the Holiday Haven community. Upon entering, you walk into the open concept living area with full kitchen, dining table for 6 and living room. In the kitchen you will find an electric range, microwave, fridge, pots, pans and other cooking essentials. For the mornings sitting by the fire or enjoying the views from the upper deck, you can make your cup off coffee with our Keurig or drip coffee maker.

From the living area, you can enjoy views of the woods and water while sitting by the propane fireplace or watching tv. There is a Roku smart tv, DVD player, and gaming system. Off of the living area is the main floor bedroom, it features a queen bed and Roku smart tv. The main floor also features the full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. On the second floor you will find a loft area and second bedroom. The loft area overlooking the main floor has a twin daybed with a trundle and a newly added large window with views of the water. The second bedroom has a full bed and small area off of it with kids toys and bean bag chairs.

In the basement you will find the pool table room, with a bar table and chairs, pool table, Roku smart tv and games. Off of the pool table room there is the lower deck with the hot tub and a sunroom sitting area. Looking to enjoy the outdoors, we have a fire pit area with bench seating, a private dock, 2 kayaks and canoe. Want to stay connected during your stay, there is wifi and a landline phone available. Dish and hand soap are provided and the washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Please note, the property is located off of a gravel road in a private community. FWD/AWD is recommended.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we have an external security camera located on the front of the house facing the parking area.

My husband and I rented the lake house for our 5th Anniversary. It was very clean and no bugs. We had a wonderful time. A few things that can make it better- a more comfortable bed, a light on the outside patio with the grill and better water pressure in the shower. We ended up taking all the pillow off the other beds and that helped. We bought a cheap lamp and plugged it in outside so we could see to grill. Overall- it was a great little getaway. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.

My sisters and I loved the cabin and had everything we needed. We would 100% go back. It was clean and Chelsea responded to every question promptly. The online pictures do not do it justice. It is beautifully situated right on a private lake. We stayed in October and enjoyed the fall foliage. anytime we weren't out hiking or eating we were on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view we made use of the hot tub and the kayaks. there's nothing negative we could say about the cabin itself. it was a about a 25 minute ride though to any of the caves and about 30 minutes to restaurants. but the beauty of the cabin and its surroundings outweigh that.

Had a great time. The grill needs updated. If something a.guest would want to do, the grill was unoperable/old. The cabin, the location, the lake in the woods, and reaching and speaking to the host, was 5 star, and then some. Would return to tbis or other Venture Cabins Ty:)

We had the best time staying at the cabin. The check in process was a breeze. The cabin itself was everything we could have asked for. So cozy and a great feeling of home. We loved the kayaks and the house was stocked well with amenities. My husband and his friends really enjoyed the pool table only thing was the bumpers on the table were worn. Not a big deal because they still enjoyed themselves. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay. Clean and very relaxing on the cooler nights. We appreciated being able to watch movies on the smart tv and the location was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be staying again. The host was easy to contact and overall I would definitely recommend.

It was ok. Needs updated. Hard to fish from bank branches need trimmed back canoe and kayaks are not the best. The canoe was definitely shaky not in best condition. Pool table is in poor condition rails need fixed. I thought it would be nicer for the price.

The Lake House

I was so excited booking this house, when we pulled up, I was like, “this is not what I booked” then when it was time to leave, we did not want to leave. The only reason that comment was made was because when you pull up the house does not look like the picture at first. I learned later the pic was taken from the back side. The home and area is beautiful. I didn’t really care for the 20 minute drive to almost everything. Felt like 40 on those roads. lolThere was plenty to keep yourself occupied on the property. Teens loved the kyaks, my husband and I caught some a bass and a blue gill, lighter fluid and lighters that were provided was nice. We did not see the box fan in the one closet until the last day. Wish we would have saw that sooner. Bluetooth radio was a nice touch, as well as the games. We discovered a new found love for the game of pool. We spent hours playing. Hot tub was clean just missing cushions for the head but nice for the night time cold air. View was beautiful, check in was easy. Definitely would stay again
