The window to the sky

Nice one bedroom apartment with breathtaking views of the Amalfi seafront.

The house consists of an entrance hall with living room and double sofa bed, a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The double bedroom, on the other hand, can be reached via an internal staircase.

The two-room apartment is a few steps from the port of Amalfi where you can embark on ferries to the most important places on the Amalfi coast. Furthermore, the center of Amalfi is located about 500 meters away, reachable by a pleasant walk through the alleys of the town.

No communication from owner regarding check in process prior and after check in time. No answer to multiple messages on Stayz and couldn’t get through on telephone number on site. Phone number on site completely incorrect and address stated completely incorrect. Inconsistent with “get directions” link. After many failed attempts at trying to find property and asking locals for help, at 10pm with my 9yr old daughter and partner, thought to Google the name of the owners company. Found his number and he answered. No apology or reason why no communication about code for check in nor that all information completely incorrect. We assumed it was a scam and were looking for other properties. Also, no AC and about 200 steps up to property. Once there beautiful view but such a bad experience over all due to no check in instructions. Especially given the price to stay. We got into the property at 1130pm.

misleading about distance from port and poor information

this is not ‘a few steps from the port’ - it is about 500 including 160 upward steps - it is also difficult to find although would have been easy with some focussed description of where to go and what to look out for. not accessible by taxi so anyone with limited mobility needs to know the reality before booking. the place is full of commands to protect the owner from potential damage to the property with limited regard for enhancing the visitors’ experience.

Amazing Stay in a Beautiful Home

This home in Amalfi was absolutely perfect for our stay and we enjoyed it immensely. The apartment is located with amazing views of the ocean and great walking access to fantastic restaurants and cafes. The apartment was cozy and very comfortable and the host was very helpful in arranging our check-in as well as transportation needs and recommendations. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Average stay poor communication

Nice location, communication with gianfanco who told us if we needed anything to just call him. The bathroom had no soap and only two towels for our family of 4. Contacted the company multiple times and they ghosted us. We used two dirty towels for the entire 4 days stay. Sad that they would never contact us back. Wish I could recieve a refund for a portion of the stay.

View alone is worth it

What an amazing view. The apartment itself is homey and comfortable and well equipped. Very clean and in a very safe location. Be prepared though... the steps to get there are not for the faint of heart (but then again that is not uncommon for these parts). Parking was a good distance away and expensive (again, not uncommon for these parts, and not associated with the apartment. I hope my warnings don't deter you from booking this place. Waking up to the view of the harbor, the beach, and the town below you is nothing short of AMAZING. One last thing.... our host was incredible. Helped us with our luggage (no small feat) suggested places to eat etc. Yet another bonus to staying here.
